Just adding a +1 to the 'N' only appearing if you have an actual note on the player. Color coding by right clicking would be nice too actually.

Not a suggestion, but a thanks to stars for the Ctrl+S hotkey to register in a similar SnG. It's awesome and I feel like an idiot for not knowing about it sooner!

Pedantry says similar because it's not the exact same one, but if you Ctrl+S on a $2/180, it'll reg for another $2/180.

Because people could buy them from one person for the same price as the $4k bonus ($1600 per 100k) and then use them to buy the porsche for $2000 per 100k.

or SNs can buy them from lower level VIPs for < 1.6 cents each and then make instant profit

+1 this would open up a can of worms with Bronzestars selling their $0.010 value FPPs for $0.015 to Supernovas who use them to buy the $0.016 value bonus costing Stars VIP program a ton more money.

I'd be fine with FPP transfer if your cashier showed:
Bronze FPPs: ____ @ $0.010
Silver FPPs: _____ @$ 0.011

... for finite value attached to each FPP. Of course this would require revamping the store to offer people item pricing based on their current status rather than categorizing items into FPP value groups like the current system does. This would complicate things a lot and that would go against Stars' VIP program's stated intent with the minor changes this year.

There will be a new client update over the next few days, which mostly concerns various performance optimizations. Below is list of the major changes directly visible to players:

Changes in Update Rules to the Lobby Lists of Games

The biggest change in this update is that we have improved the update logic for the list of games in the lobby to provide for a much smoother experience. “Jumps” in the list of games has been a common complaint by many players, experienced and new players alike.

The new update logic eliminates to a large degree the feeling of “jumps”. As a result finding the games that you want should be easier even in the incredibly busy and constantly updating PokerStars lobby.

Daily Option to the VIP Club Customization Bar

Based on popular demand, we have now added a daily VPPs goal option to the customization of the VIP Club Progress Bar. To choose this option go to “Options” > “Customize VIP Club Progress Bar” and choose “Daily” from the drop-down for “VIP Player Point (VPP) Goal”.

Note that the VPP update frequency is optimized for server performance reasons. You therefore might notice that the bar may not always update immediately while you are playing, but you are still getting every single VPP that you have earned. There are several events which periodically trigger VPPs to be updated to the account (and the VPP Progress Bar), the easiest of which is to open the Cashier.

Home Games

Home Games is now out of the Beta stage – thanks a lot for all the feedback and the ideas for future improvements. Please do keep them coming through the usual channels! This update has many small Home Games fixes and adjustments.

Other Fixes and Changes

• We have made the check boxes on tables in the lower left corner (above the chat window) more consistent in their location. As a result, some of the boxes now might have a different position.
• Windows 7 now pins the PokerStarsUpdate.exe by default.
• Various bug fixes – including fixing some disconnection issues, and not seeing hole cards should be resolved or severely minimized.

Note: As usual, the above changes would only take effect once your gaming client has been updated, which could happen at different times for different players. Please ensure you are running PokerStarsUpdate.exe to get the update.

Every email you send to support with ideas and suggestions reaches the same team who also monitors those forums. And we constantly keep track of player suggestions. So yes, your ideas do matter!

Uncheck "Options" > "Advanced Multi-Table Options" > "Auto-open Sit & Go tournament lobby" and you would not see the SNG lobby auto opening anymore. There are other options in the same menu that could be of interest to multi-tablers.

This is a good idea, suggested before as well, and will be evaluated for a future update.

The filters on PokerStars are "live", i.e. the moment you change something in the filter dialog, the list of games adjusts immediately without having to close the filters dialog. If you keep the filters dialog open while you are browsing for games you achieve a very similar effect to what you want as behavior.

The rule for the timebank has always been: if you have any money invested in the pot (blinds and antes count as well) the timebank will auto activate for you. If you don't, then the timebank will not auto activate and you have to click on the button. With the latest changes we show the "Timebank" button in depressed state if the time bank will auto activate and in regular state if you have to manually activate it.

Tourneys with latereg 60 minutes regularly close registration before the 60 minutes are up. It happened just now with the $11 Macau turbo. I was so tilted that I instaclosed the client, but I am sure you can find the T#. It happens quite often in these turbos. I have reported this to support twice, but they just "forward it to a specialist" (is this code for trashing my mail?) and nothing happens. I would consider this a serious bug.

I would like for single table SNG players to be able to view the lobby as it is registering like you can for cash games without having to actually open the lobby. I believe you spoke of this update in the past, any news on that?

Why are 20-50 tables in the new filter ?

Finally had that random disconnect/unable to sit back in on all my tables bug. I think 1 or 2 tables were fine but the rest didn't have the button. I had to close the client and re open it so I could sit back in. Awesome timing too, had AA and got 3 bet. Fun stuff. Has anyone had to send log files to PS? Just wondering if that will help.

sorta glitch on stars:

when you request a check and then cancel it only shows the cancelled check amount in your history. this makes it look like your account was credited money instead of remaining the same

Customizable "preselect action" check boxes?

I have often wondered who actually uses "Call Any/Check" or "Call Any" - they're so unnecessary IMO ...

"Bet Max/Call Any" and many other combinations would make so much more sense ...

Limit players.

When you look at a cashgame table in the lobby, you see the players seated with the effective stacks in the sidebar. Also colour notes on the seated players.
Could you use that window to show the allready registered players for sit and go's? The sidebar is now filled with some information that is completely standard. It would make table selecting much easier whilst playing.

I understand this can be difficult for multi table sit and go's, but for the single table ones it would be great.
