However, we have just enough people that our tournaments are normally two tables, and thus "Chatting" is limited to people at the table unless you join the other table as a spectator as well, and you don't know who else is spectating.

In short, I'd really like a cross table chat function for home game tournaments or, barring that, a "chat lobby" off my home games lobby that everyone can go to.

Thanks for listening.
Solid idea

When you sign in the highlighted tourney always changes to the top tourney on the page. This sucks especially when you are trying to sign up to a sng. Please change it so that the game you were looking at before you sign in, is the game that is highlighted after you sign in.

Regarding the eight game mix hand re-player. it would be nice to have the option to show the hands face up on the first click instead of having to wait for the entire hand to replay.

Can we have a favourites section? It would be nice to have a place where we can store our favourite SnGs etc...that way we don't have to search through the whole list every time we want to sign up for one.

This thread is quite long and I apologize if I am repeating what others have said. If so, just consider it a +1. Some of them aren't exactly software related, but SITE related, but I didn't know where else to suggest it, so I hope you don't mind me using this thread. If there is a better thread, please advise:
  • For NLHE cash games, there are no more new 50bb max tables and very few old ones left. Please remove that filter in the software and do a server reset or whatever is necessary to remove the final 19 remaining.
  • Cash game waiting lists can be a problem at mid to high stakes where there are few games running and waitlists that are 5 players are more long. I suggest having a "Rush Table" like que OPTION to start new tables. In fact, when you join a waitlist, by default have a checked option so that the player automatically goes into that pool. As soon as 9 players in full ring or 6 players in 6 max are in the que, BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE, a new table appears for those players. It would also be a good idea to cap waitlists at something like 5 players maybe having exceptions only for tables that have a PokerStars team pro on them. There is really no point to have waitlists that go on into infinity.
  • PokerStars needs to SELL physical PokerStars gift cards as a way to make depositing easier. Sell them in Canada, Europe, Ebay, or wherever is legal. Get them out there so the common fish can get their hands on them and money on the site ASAP.
  • Stars needs to offer gift cards in the VIP program at 62.5 FPP's (or whatever rate is commensurate with the players' VIP status) or less per dollar for COMMON items that poker players would use: namely places like Kroger for groceries, Wal-Mart for general goods, Restaurants, Best Buy, Amazon, and the like. If we can easily get money OUT to buy real things we want, we won't need to withdraw money so often and have all these ancillary costs related to bank processors not working.
  • The same "buffet gift cards" mentioned above should ALSO be available as a "cash out" or "withdrawal" option. If I want to withdrawal $500 from my account, I'd like an option to do so with gift cards instead of cash.
  • Offer good products in the VIP store at 62.5 FPP's (or whatever rate is commensurate with the players' VIP status) or less per dollar. I bought both a flat screen TV AND monitor for my house over the past 2 years and didn't even CONSIDER buying it from Stars ... why? Terrible rate and value. Offer a good rate and I buy from Stars as an easy way to get my money off the site.
  • Offer bigger, better freerolls to an UNLIMITED customer base (no maximum player numbers) using ADVERTISING dollars. This freeroll brought to you buy .... <insert advertiser here>. Use 90% of the advertising money to fund the freeroll and 10% as rake. The entry level would dictate what the advertiser owes and they would pay it KNOWING they'd reach a certain number of customers. The freeroll winners will put their money in play on the site, which benefits everyone.

+ 1 to implementing some sort of revenue generating advertising scheme as long as players would see some sort of kickback across the board instead of Stars just saying ty for the new revenue. Decent paying, one round freerolls would be a good place to start. Beyond that, assuming significant corporate interest, 4.5% rake and a $0.25 reduction in rake cap for cash games and maybe a 33% reduction in rake for sponsored guarantees.
  • Replace those random cash table names with sponsors. More money contributed = more tables with your name on them ldo.
  • Coca-Cola Classic Sunday Million $210. Sponsored tourney tables have commercials playing during 5 minute break.
  • Get rid of those people from the bottom banner in the lobby who I've never heard of and have zero intention of ever clicking on to find out and replace with ad banners.

Doesn't need to be intrusive at all. Cash table example:

+1 I like this idea.

Also put me down for being able to choose a relative seat anywhere I choose, not to beat a dead horse (I know it has been mentioned repeatedly).

just a tiny thing..
in the info-box (mtts, sngs): switch the line "time till next blindlvl" with the timebank-info, its more important imho and i have to scroll to get to it at my normal tablesize

I know that some of my friends who play recreationally on Stars would love to play these and really have fun with them (and try harder).
I agree, if you can transfer funds to a friend why not tournament tickets or FPPs? Also would still be nice to see the "click on single table and close" feature added.

I would like a filter on cash games so that I can view only tables that I am currently on in the lobby, even better if it could work in conjunction with viewing only the non-full tables

(i.e i would like my lobby to show tables with open seating along with the full tables that I am sitting at.)

That would be a great opportunity for Bronze or Silver players to move up a step. And if it keeps the fish happy, it's probably a good thing.

I'd like to see more scheduled hyper turbo HU mtts like the $10.20 and $101/102 games you got out there with more of them at these stakes and stakes in between. Since $10.20 is a common buyin one running per hour would be nice

I have this same problem, however usually only in 2-7 TD.

I've found the easiest way to combat this is by going on the previous hand by accessing it through the hand replayer (the "<" button I guess) and then going straight back to the hand you want and for me it is 95% of the time reloaded to display the hand from the start.

Sorry if slightly confusing but hope it helps.

But obviously an improvement would be to not have to do this at all and it instantly loads, not sure if it has anything to do with it not being saved to the server/wherever in time if you access it straight after the hand?

Unless your on about something else:

Right click the background of your table > Click "Deck" > Select "Standard"

If you have disabled the right click then go to "View" in the lobby and select to allow right clicks to select theme - it's near the bottom.

Hope this helps.

When I started to play the game I would sit a 9man table and maximize the screen. After a while I started playing 6max and then I have discovered the true beauty of Heads Up games. The bad thing about that was that the lowest limit was 25c/50c and the players from microstakes cannot play comfortable at those limits.

Micro HU PLO and NLHE would be awsome with 100bb minimum. Why not enjoy the heads up ring game experience at lower limits? There will be a lot of people interested, therefore the rake will do its job lol. I guess 2c/5c is a good limit to start from this new Micro category. The alternative is HU SNGs, but I find it very different from HU cash game.

This will be a major upgrade and players will understand better the game at Heads Up and move faster in limits. It's a win-win-win situation. (1st win - players are able to play HU with a smaller BR; 2nd win - rake ftw; 3rd win - people moving up means people paying more rake)

I would like to suggest two things.

1. Make it possible to set a custom table size and save it. If i make a table layout for lets say 8 tables i have to resize all the tables manually which never fits 100%. So if i stack the tables it allways "flickers" then because not all the tables are exactly the same size. The default size is too small fo me since I am an old man.
Maybe it would work too, if a table layout is activated and I open new tables that they open automaticly in the same size of the ones I allready arranged.

2. I allways register to new sngs in the table session menue. After this is done there is a pop up that tells me that it worked and I was registered. If I click "close" in this pop up the lobby pops up again and I have to close it too. I personally dont even need the "registered" pop up but could you at least attach it to the active table so that the lobby does'nt come up again? Or make it autoclosing after 5 sec? I usually ignore these pop ups but if i later have to see the lobby aggain i have to close 10 of these pop ups first before i can do anything else.

For anybody who plays 8-Game, I've started a thread about the possibility of their being a cap on the NL/PLO rounds - any input would be appreciated:
