If you want to take chat and/or take notes like in the original update, you can put the following line in your user.ini file under [Options]:

KeepChatFocus=1

Unfortunately this doesn't work with v4.434

In the future we will most probably add a checkbox option for this in the client.

Thanks for the reply but this doesn't work. Why did players prefer the old system? Does it not only have an effect if you want to take notes (making it easier), if you don't want to take notes it shouldn't change anything.

that was an advantage

only editable themes.inis, like no other, pokerstars.ini, fw.ini or the other, it would have helped a lot people and would allow some.
that would be quite something.

When I got disconnected and sat out on the cash tables, the sit in option would be gone for those. The only way I can sit in again is to close those tables, search myself and reopen them again.

IIRC someone has mentioned about it weeks ago, but seems like this problem is still around.

can we change shortcut for hide hand?

for mac cmmd + H is hide application, also when i move my mouse over my cards, click / right-click it still doesn't show me what they are.

kinda annoying + useless + annoying.

Thanks Stefan, glad you are looking into this. I play 12-20 SNG at a time, 5-6 times a day. Having the mods make it pleasant, including full face cards, etc. Until they are fixed I have moved most of my roll onto FT.

I do like Stars better, so hopefully the gx.ini mods can be worked out. Will be back the day it switches back.

Why are the font sizes so little?
It would be very nice to make the font size like the chattext size when i tile the smallest table size.
I see no point in making it sio unreadable as it is.
It should also easy to implement?!
I know i can change it but then it messes TN up.
When Pokerstars implement bigger fonts on small tablesize TN has to adjust.

What is important is that PokerStars gains a clear idea of how people feel about playing on the site. Making one post is not going to do that. Online forums being what thet are means that one post often means nothing - someone just playing a prank perhaps. But doing what we are doing will convey how people really feel. So actually, from the viewpoint of PokerStars, what we are doing is necessary, anf helpful. They are not the only player in the game, and if they want to continue to be the best then they welcome &[I] cannot get enough[/] of accurate feedback.

Besides, everyone has pretty much been quite civil about it.

Enabling the gx.ini files to be editable means that the software will be 'mproved'. More, not less, players seeking SNE is an 'Improvement'.

dude, i am going for sne, you are not the only grinder here - am using a mod and nearly every software available, so please.

if you want to show how many people need this, then start a vote, and dont spam this thread for whatever pages, so every other suggestion is not seen. its way more impressive when Steve sees 1000votes for it, but you can be sure he is NOT counting it here.

+1 stop hijacking this thread. I use tiltbuster mods, too, but this is ****ing ridiculous. They've already said they're working on it. Why don't you all give them a half hour or perhaps a more reasonable few weeks to get something done before requesting the same damn thing over and over again?

I and a lot of other people have been asking for:
a) Right click for color code
b) sit out and close this table
for ages with absolutely no response that they're working on it or a yes or no at all.

fwiw I'm going to set my tiltbuster budget at $50 for the remainder of this year and run it at a -$1 rate for every ****ing time this thread gets hijacked again until the TB team stops being douchebags and calls off their spam army. i mean ffs can't you guys deal professionally with Stars reps through PM or something?

of course my budget is rather insignificant to the TB bottom line but i would hope some other people out there are also tired of TB co-opting yet another thread for themselves.

The topic was responded to negatively earlier in this thread, making it clear that PokerStars did not see this feature as being significant enough to act on.

If a 2+2 admin requests that I take down the link to this thread, I will. If PokerStars releases a software update to address the matter, that would effectively stop the posts as well.

FYI - I removed the link at the time I made the above post. There have been almost as many hate posts as there were gx.ini posts . I didn't notice any repeat posters (though I didn't review post by post).

Lastly, I tried communicating directly with PokerStars with no results. And now that a couple of people have taken offense to an effort to rally support, I see no reason why stars would feel any pressure to implement any changes for the players.

I wish i had been the guy that requested chat bubbles, at least then I would have that.

Honestly I just don't see the point of continued spam when they've stated they're going to work on it. I just find it very odd that a ton of the very well thought out and articulated ideas that get brought up every few weeks/months get a non-response while a mass-spam campaign gets near instantaneous response of we're working on it. idk maybe I deserve a You Mad?

If that's how Stars wants this thread to run then by all means more power to you Bar and I'll just keep spamming my own 5 and 6 word sentences until I get a response too. Kind of a ****ty precedent to be setting for what has been a fairly helpful thread to this point imo.

99% of this whole thread is redundant anyways. so who cares about a bit more spam. problem is stars communication policy being very poor. there are "feature requests" and there should be a dedicated place for them in stars habitat where they..

- can be rejected, accepted, voted for (whatevs)
- can be assigned a developement status
- can be commented on by users and should be commented on by stars staff

this is called "transparency". now on to the middle east..
