[PokerStars] Software Improvement Thread - Page 321 - PokerStars: General discussion -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

When I hit "Cashier" in the PS lobby the "Cashier" window opens in random places. Before it was always located in the center of the lobby. Not a big deal I guess except yesterday my "bet bar" wasn't working properly so I had to shut everything down and restart my computer. Was wondering if the "Cashier" thing is normal or if this is a sign that I need to reinstall the PS software.

It's new. It also auto updates every minute or so and isn't "modal" so you can still use the main pokerstars lobby with the cashier window up.

Aside from it opening in wacky locations and not really remembering where it was last opened/closed, I like it.

Does the Cashier window now refresh itself if say you win a tourney or transfer funds etc.? If it's not modal anymore it really should be self-refreshing.

Why can't I take notes on myself? This would be a handle place to keep general notes. I don't see why it should not be possible.

You can test this pretty easily, but the answer is yes - only about every 60 seconds, ostensibly to avoid overtaxing the server hardware.

Please let people blind out faster in HUSNGs when they disconnect. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to blind someone out if your unlucky enough to have them D/C at the beginning of the match in a reg speed HUSNG. Just remove the grace period people get each turn when they're disconnected so it's more similar to Full Tilt. Thanks.

A quick note: today's intermediate client update did not have items related to the playing experience, so gaming experience should not have been affected.

You have some Stud sattelites for WCOOP that are showing up as "STUD" in the main lobby + tournament lobby, but it's playing as stud HILO.

Please fix this.

As mentioned earlier, sit out next bb and close table for just one table.

Oh yes and I'm color blind and cannot tell what tables I'm already at in the lobby. We need very contrasting colors for this.

awesome. I got an error when I tried to update Stars today, but the client opened up afterwards anyway. Being security-conscious, I uninstalled it and went to the main site to download the installer clean, but the download is estimated at 17 hours and climbing... starts at around 30 KB/s and drops rapidly from there. Good servers, Stars. Now I can't make late reg for the $320 8-game, which I desperately wanted to play.

Yeah, I mentioned this right after they implemented the color coding. I didn't get any response. You don't have to be color blind to find their color choices extremely annoying, either.

Why would they pick red and pink as the two colors to use? I mean, just...wow. Is it too much to ask to have them use colors which aren't right next to each other on the color wheel?

Not sure if these have been mentioned but i'll list some:

- bet all in/half pot/pot button like on FTP
- I don't want the news popping up every time I log in; so option to disable that.
- Remove clickable links from table eg. Reload bonuses/wcoop

An option to set default rebuy preferences would be much appreciated.

Having to click for a rebuy at the beginning of every rebuy tournament is very tilting when you're mid-grind on lots of tables, as is having to manually click the 'auto double rebuy' and 'auto add on' boxes every single time.

This idea goes along with the minimum number of hands for HU cash/making it like a sng whatever suggestions.

My idea is to get rid of the rake per hand and charge a fee like what is on a no blind increase HUSNG. Charge to play 100 or 200 hands. This would also allow you to have smaller stakes than 50NLHU.

don't like the CAP games

that is reactive to mistakes other sites have made instead of taking positive steps to the future

no CAP--just make the games 30-60. Why would PokerStars work to eliminate the popular 20-50 game?
