Hello, everybody.
Recently I played a tournament on PS.es, only 11 players left, I went all-in and doubled up. After that a tournament stopped. Next day I've got a letter from PS support, where there was written, that the payouts were made according to chipcount. But my last hand was not set off, and Ive got 2 times less money, than I should. I made a screenshot of my stack (I can not attach it, russian sites are not pemitted as far as I understood) and sent them to support, but there is no answer for 24 hours. Please advise, what should I do and where should I write?
Thank you.

hello,

same thing happened to me at a sng, won an all in against the shortstack and the last hand was not counted and the prizepool was split 3way instead of 2 way like it should have.

don't think there is much you can do, really as the money was already credited to everyone involved.

As far as I can the main change from the first update is that they changed the zoom lobby so you can no longer see how many tables someone is playing. I guess this is inline with the theory that are trying to push players to zoom and perhaps they thought see the pool full of tabling regs made it seem less attractive to recs (well, less to attractive to everyone I guess).

That and they just felt like making the client ugly as ****.

I literally get a headache from looking at the lobby (although it could also be muscle tension from Coronagrinding).

Not a bad beat story!

Played in a 'Home Game' on Pokerstars. In our 3-4 hour game, different players hit quads 7 times! What are the odds? Does this prove that there is something wrong with Pokerstars? I expect many "bad beats" but this is crazy, no?

Everyone was not happy, even the big winners.

forced update guys, how old was the version you were using?

there is likely a 'cutoff point' of old software you can use

I just had to update to the new client ... and OMG. Were you held ransom by the 888 software designer?

I want my old lobby back. I'm sick right now.

I think it all makes sense to me now... Remember the scandal with the server crashes on 12th August 2018? Where the servers crashed, but somehow players from 4 countries remained untouched by that and blinded out everybody? The countries were Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic and Belgium, just the countries that are affected by the insane lag now. I imagine it is indeed due to us having some separate servers, while the other markets are playing on some centralized servers which work well, because they probably are designed to handle peak traffic, while in our countries with limited amount of people and players it is not needed to invest in such infrastructure in normal circumstances. But that sadly means that the problem won't be fixed, i don't know if logistically it would be that easy, but that is stars, they won't bother for 1-2 more months of traffic in few peasant countries, it will just be sunk cost investment for afterwards, you don't want such expenses in the quarterly reports. Seems like a RIP situation to me.

I remember this. Just mentioned in the other thread that it might location / license / server issue and it only affects a small percentage of the pool.

Hi all, I’m having an issue getting onto PokerStars.
When I go to logon a message comes up that says “Rational Updater Client Software has stopped working”.

Has anyone had this issue before? I googled it and an article says to uninstall and reinstall, but to make sure that I back up a couple files. But I’m not even able to find the files that it says to back up...so I am unsure of wtf to do.

i had a rather new version and was forced to update as well.
it was at most 1 month "old", stopped the auto-update fearing the aurora graphics mentioned here.

latest version doesn't allow resizing of the lobbies, what's up with that?

fwiw i can resize the lobby but theres a minimum height and width thats larger than before

these baby-blue buttons are absolutely disgusting though, its painful to look at (and you cant even change lobby to classic black or whatever) back in the day you got to choose between classic and black lobby which was nice
