Go to lobby - open a table with zero players - sit and wait. Or join a table with one player waiting. It's not really that hard.

It is exponentially harder when there are literally 0 tables available with 0 players, wouldn't you say? I am also aware of my option to wait in line to play at that sick 13% VPIP table. Might as well play zoom. That's the point.

What are your countries and do you experience huge laggs lately? For us in Czech Republic last 2 weeks or so were pretty bad, tournaments often registering for minutes until they put you on the table, sometimes slower action on the table also. And then yesterday was total disaster, I was sitting out maybe 1/4 of all hands, could not get back to the table, just looking on my premium hands being openfolded... I am afraid to play today.

Bulgaria here, after today's restart the lag is insane already, i've never had such horrendous lag that early in the day. Hopefully they did not make things worse, but given how incompetent they are i would not be surprised.

Well if you don't want to start a table with another player allready sitting then you should play zoom obv.

So I can either spend a week reconstructing my ranges for the ante game, play zoom which I already decided isn't where I should be at this point, or move up to where they respect my raises even though I'm not properly rolled, all because they capped regular cash tables at my stakes at 112 for some thoroughly stupid reason, I'm sure.

Edit: They literally just increased the cap by five and it did practically nothing to solve the problem. Why facilitate actual bankroll building when you can get everyone playing stupid snakes and ladders games for a chance to win pennies and restrict access to rake-generating games?

Seriously what are you looking at, skimming like an extra $2,000 a day by driving traffic to other games? Unbelievable data-driven stupidity.

If you are so unhappy with the way stars operates why do you play there and moan here? There hasn't been stars rep for ages so it doesn't help at all. Im just so curious why do you play stars in the first place.

Anyone can tell me specifically how i turn off the sidebets tab? I cannot find anything to turn it off.

I see a lot of complaints about lag and connection problems.... I'm having connection issues also but I'm wondering if its my internet or windows 10 or stars software. When I am having issues, I open the task manager I see that other apps and windows 10 are using data but Stars is not. Seems like win10 is giving priority to things like skype and chrome before Stars. I'm no pc expert but thats what it seems like to me. Anyone know alot about win10? Is there a way to give priority to a specific app (Stars client) over other apps and background functions?

When this happens, my tables freeze (zoom) and my lobby goes unresponsive. I closing the client, then disable wifi for maybe 5-10 secs, restart wifi and then Stars client and everything goes back to normal until the next time. Sometimes its good for hours sometimes it keeps losing connection. Cant seem to figure out why

It would be great if Pokerstars had home games for mobile devices. I have a tablet and cannot play with friends. Very frustrating!

It's not windows 10.
You could google and run an internet speed test, but it's most likely stars. Which is why so many of us have been complaining about it on here and another thread for weeks!

WHY does the software CRASH when I try to open Zoom on a laptop or PC. I have access to four different laptops, two desktop PC's, tried them all, same result.

Not a "lag" or anything like that (if and when I can get the f*cking table open it works OK) - just the entire PS client software outright freezing up on opening so that I have no choice but to use TM to shut it down & then re-load it. But it's practically impossible to do that in time so as to not get your hand folded in Zoom if you're in a blind.

We're well past the point of this fiasco being plain incompetence. This is outright negligence, assuming there isn't something more nefarious going on.

I've checked. It's none of that. I have eighty megs down and twenty up and doing nothing else while trying to play Stars.

It's the software. There is a bug in the software that is causing it to freeze, often when players are trying to open a table. The fact it's still there after weeks and weeks and weeks is proof of, at best, negligence.

I tried going to Pokerstars to download it, but it'll only give me the play money client in the US.

Try something like hidemyass used to work when I needed to dl .es client. OR trial vpn works allso.

I tried with PokerStarsInstallEU, older version and disabled Aurora Engine. Looks fine. But I can't find older PokerStarsInstallBG. Is here anyone from BG? You can find this file in some folders, Download for example.You can find this file, even if it is deleted.

Edit: Not working with 2 years old file. The checkbox is there. "Enable Aurora Engine", uncheck, restart and no more "Aurora choice". It is there, permanently.
