which coins that are now worth a fraction of a penny in your opinion have big potential? I need to clear my bank account from ~$28 and I'm too lazy to get dressed and go to ATM so would like to gamble

Something like ripple or factom or w/e can increase 20-100x. But obv have way higher risk of ruin.
Yes, ripple is going to 100x and hit a 3 tril market cap. 9 tril if you take into account all coins

So in an eventual btc crash (even just a minor one), do we expect most/all altcoins to crash as well, since they are mostly denominated in btc? Or would they potentially hold their USD value in which case their btc value would actually increase? Iirc in the past everything pretty much crashed along with btc, but today for example btc is down 5%+ but the rest of crypto markets are soaring.

They are soaring because they ran up so much last night that the small falls today are still putting them in the Green USD wise.

Right, just saying that before the current madness, EVERYTHING seemingly ran parallel to BTC, like loading up something like cryptowat.ch when btc was down was just a screen full of red. Every alt-coin reddit screaming about how btc is causing their prices to crash, etc.

No TRON in my account either. How long has it been since you logged into your account? Think that air drop was a while ago. I did have about 86 satoshi worth of ETF sitting there tho lol.

There is literally zero smart money in Ripple right now. The reasons have been reiterated numerous times. Do your own research people

You can only post positive things on XRP without getting flamed if its up 400% on the week. Then you get to answer how to buy it.

Go on? Oh are you one of those crypto hippies that wank off to bitcoin? Ripple has the most potential out of any other blockchain technology currently, has partnered with over 100 banks including https://ripple.com/sbi-ripple-asia/ the largest bank in South Korea. It hasn't got delusional ideas of becoming a "world currency" like bitcoin and the rest do, it actually has solid goals that they work towards. In the end, the banks always win and the smart money will be on their side

Fwiw I'm pretty sure ETH caused the mini-crash last night. I was railing GDAX when this happened:
