Out of CMG, took the loss. Bad SSS.

Covered half of my CMG. Adding to my HRB short.

Demp, I believe Raine is now working on Wall Street, in a major firm, hence the lack of posts.

fckn disgrace

*** this is a TRADING thread....and hopefully you listen to actual/solid traders going forward..GL
You're the only thing that's a disgrace man atleast when he did post he generated discussion. And for the record he stated in this thread he sold in the 20s you can look it up yourself. You really have your panties in a bunch because someone offered you some criticism on a **** trade you put on. Your posts are the most useless waste of space I've come across in this thread second only to ASAP Monday morning quarterback posts (atleast he tries to post something worth discussing once in a while) feel free to stop posting no one will miss you.

He was building his position again in CHK after he sold initially in the 20s. Hope it turns out well for us the long term.

Short term, trading off support at the 200 day which we touched briefly last week.

Dont spoil it for me as I haven't looked at the ticker today , but I think the phone being a bust won't come into play til next quarter or so. The compliance guy in my firm asked me to be a little more discreet in my post , which is why I have to post less here.

Timing is still awful, I'd be first to admit it. Chase runs too late, get out too soon. But getting better in severity of swings so I guess that's a positive.

I don't know if that's the case I remember asking him for an update and he said he sold in the 20s. I remember this because it had pulled back and I was doing some initial work on the company and couldn't get around their debt levels and management turn around plan and wanted to see if anything changed.

Also I really can't believe there are so many people in here that would blindly follow someone else picks without doing their own due diligence on a company. If you are buying something because you think its undervalued you have to know what your downside and upside are. Don't take anyones word for it, its your money on the line.

My first CMG short was a day late(the day after its big ER drop) when I found something that I really, REALLY disliked. I covered at a terrible time after a small surge which was enough to convince me that my noob theory was probably meaningless, of course it might still be. I re-entered at the above quote at 661. Anyways they are sitting at 664 ATM so, unfortunate that I didn't fully cover.

Yo, everyone calm the **** down. It is supposed to be "critique an idea" not "critique a person."

If anyone cares, I would avoid energy stocks until they establish an uptrend, but that is because I have no idea how to time a bounce.

I lost 9 cents per share today on my short VXX play.

Declining comps apparently doesn't matter, I knew about the Carnitas problem but had no idea it would cause this big of a move up on the call.

This.

It's a satisfying experience, well, id assume but I wouldn't know, to catch that bottom penny and watch that security rise from its depths! Many energy stocks are reaching incredible lows. Unfortunately, the outlook is still grim and it is still seems plausible for this things to tank much further.

Always easier to say after the fact but yeah obviously.

You are in a tough spot. The way I'd look at is to try to determine if you'd buy here if you had no position.

If the answer isn't "yes" then sell.

Got no idea on waiting for an uptick.

Anyone buying the Apple haircut?
07-21-2015 , 07:36 PM
Glad I didn't play options on CMG (except for those neutral spreads) silver lining. All going to be flushed away tomorrow, pricing in an 8% move that did happen only in the stock lol. Whipsaw.

Those physical metals guys sure showed us.
