So I was doing some coaching but i disappeared in late October. Orange found some info from my brother so he shared in here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/10...ation-1492473/

What happened is I was walking to the c-store next door one day in the morning. I had a seizure thanks to low sodium and I fell straight on my head. Someone saw me fall and he called and got me picked up by a hospital. I had a serious brain surgery where they tried to stop me from bleeding inside my brain.

This caused me to have a big personal problem. I didn't even know who I was for the first 30 days. My parents came twice and i didn't remember them or know them. Within 50 days I started to get better and I was moved to a rehab facility. I ended up spending 5 months either in the hospital or rehab. i was eventually sent to a rehab unit in the same town my parent's live and i was finally released to my parent's house from that place a few days ago. I still have to take out of patient rehab to get my balance and memory skills back.

i obviously had no access to a computer or cell phone during this time so people thought i was disappeared. I'm sorry to any students I didn't work with. I'm not quite back to normal yet but I will be at some point and I'll finish my jobs.

I found some pictures...here's one from shortly after my surgery. I don't remember a single thing about the first 10 days or so. I think I slept straight through it all.



And one a few weeks later. No one cut my beard so it got long. Also you can't really tell in the pic but there's a big hole in my head. In two areas they took out my skull for a little while. It wasn't until February 2nd that they installed my skull pack so I had to wear a helmet if I walked somewhere to stop me from hitting a skull free brain if I fell.




and here's a big picture of the area on my head now caused from them putting my skull back in.

haha yeah i didn't want to shave the beard but they made me in rehab because I was dripping spit out of mouth all the time. my beard was stopping me from swallowing my spit. Like talking to anyone or speaking anything would cause me to drip water out that they had to clean up.

This sort of thing is why I was so amazed he survived living on a boat. Dude walked out of a store, fell over, and nearly died. If only you had hair to protect your head, you might have been fine. To give credit where credit is due though, that's one hell of a beard.

Someone sent me a new pic today of my famous beard. Apparently there was an issue that I looked like a terrorist!

Anyway, life is going fairly well. I've got rehab 3/4 times each week and I'm getting better at life stuff thanks to the therapy.
