That's always been the balancing act for me. Play for more money on the site that's unreliable, or play on the site that never goes down but has very small prizes. I much prefer the ACR tournaments with big prize pools. I like to play deep and I would play an 8+ hour tournament seven days a week if I could, but in the current environment 8+ hours is a lot of exposure when the site can crash at any time.
To be fair, the WPN issue has only been going on since last Tuesday. Prior to that, they hadn’t had a DDOS attack since last fall. And that includes making it through a MDS every Sunday since January, an entire OSS series and the 420 series.
I have no idea why the attackers are choosing now to attack. It’s annoying. And I know I’ve had some frustrated posts. But my main annoyance at this point is WPN continuing gameplay in intervals all the while having attacks multiple times a day. Until they can be confident they can prevent any future attacks happening (at least in the short term), they shouldn’t continue gameplay.
And JSP is terrible and doesn’t come close to WPN. Even with the attacks, Merge, BetOnline and Ignition/Bovada are all much better options than JSP.
