I think that doing it at NL50 would be pretty hardcore but doable. It depends how loose you play, but on average over the whole site, €1 in rake is 100 points. So 12.5m points is €12.5k raked, so ~€4.2k per month.

You raked €2.2k at NL25 in March over 74k hands. Rake per hand is slightly higher at NL50 than at NL25 as a proportion of stack sizes (a bit under 10%), so if you managed to get that kind of rate at NL50 for a quarter I'd expect you to be at around 1.25m.

NL100 would be fairly comfortable. PLO50 too, as PLO rake per hand is higher due to more hands being raked/pots being bigger.

That fun time when you jump into a 1€ Turbo only to unlock the first step of the April missions. Half an hour of my lifetime I will never get back when folding 90% of the hands that were all eight high off suit or worse and then bubble close to the money Oh well, back to work.

The idea of our satellite structure is to pay out excess money in tickets to similar tournaments (or identical ones if it can). There're €2 UO satellites for sure, but maybe not up the same route as the €50 ones.

What's your username again?

I don't mind hearing angry feedback. We'd like to avoid making people angry in the first place, so finding out how we did it last time helps us for next time.

Hi, username pirahn. My personal opinion on excess prize money is that it should be paid in cash. I should have the ability to choose what i want to do with my money. Of course i have the choice not to play. Please exchange all €1 tickets to higher value ubo tickets please. As for angry feedback re customer service, it's pointless. This is an industry wide problem of consolidation and limited resources to train staff on poker matters. Chat or a phone call usually leads to "i'll email poker...". Then wait a couple of days for a decision by someone who may have misunderstood the issue as its second hand info. I have a cracking/funny/disbelief story from another site but not sure if this is the right place to tell it. pirahn

Hi Andrew,
I don't understand how it can be CPU lag though if I can have 2 other clients and chrome open at once working fine, yet only have the Unibet client open and it not work? Any time I open another client whilst Unibet is open it becomes unresponsive so whenever I play here it is only the Unibet client I have open. This is still when the DC errors appear though. When I first started here it was fine, it just the last few updates it's gone awry.

The reasoning is that we don't mind overlaying in certain UO satellites because there's added value for us in sending players to the live events. That's why I don't exchange UO to non-UO, and it's why excess money is paid out as more UO money.

You're right, but I think for slightly wrong reasons. It's not consolidation, it's just that poker isn't a big part of a company like Unibet. I worked in PS support for 2 years and, if I do say so myself, I was good at it. It took me at least a year to understand the site inside out, probably more generously 15 months. You learn it by receiving questions on things you don't know yourself.

At Unibet, poker is perhaps 3% of the business. At the rate it took me it'd take someone in support 30+ years to understand the Unibet poker client. Ideally they'll escalate when they don't know the answer, but that doesn't happen as often as I'd like. It's a question of improving people with time, and it's something we can get better at but it'll never be to the kind of level I can do here, or PokerStars could do in 2004. It's not possible for everyone in support to understand our poker client to the same degree that I do because they spend much less time on it.

It's almost certain that poker support at Unibet is worse than it used to be because of that lack of time. Back when poker was 3x as large as a proportion of the company, support could learn 3x as fast. We grew faster than the rest of the company last year and if we can do it again, support will naturally improve too.

Another positive is that if you get crappy customer service on something related to poker, you can post in this thread and I can ask our 3rd line guy to follow it up (hi Kristoffer!) It's not the ideal solution, but it's a small improvement at least.

That makes it more likely that it's CPU lag. The Unibet client has higher CPU requirements than other poker sites do. The more programs you have open, the more likely it is to happen. It'll happen on Unibet rather than the other clients because it's Unibet that's asking for more resources, not the other clients. If it's CPU lag you will find it works better if you have nothing else open. You can also see it in the Task Manager as I discussed earlier in the thread.

That's what I'm saying though, when I play Unibet I try to make sure that everything is closed and it's still happening? It's quite a new laptop too - only like 7 months old. In response to Pirahn's problem regarding customer support though, I think Unibet's is by far and away the best there is. Even before taking the job you do into account, whenever I've ever had a problem or query it has always been resolved straight away and it's been a pleasure to deal with each and every one of your team I have. That is a lot more than I can say for any other site!!

I'm hoping to get a bonus shop done for the late Sep release and Q4 Challenges. If that's the case, people will tend to have bonus money rather than storing a ton of tickets, which makes most of the problem go away. We've allocated most of the development time for the next few months so I think it might just have to wait for that.
Challenge is ok - I don`t have tickets from there
But I have about 12 tickets to freeroll from spins... and I dont know what to do with them ...

P.S. could i swap my 25nl ticket for a 25plo ticket

This is a known bug and we think it's down to the client being open for a long time, but we aren't able to replicate it which means we can't fix it yet. If anyone can come up with a way to replicate it, it'd help us a lot.

In fact - €50 in tickets to the first person who can tell me the steps that will let me reliably replicate this bug on my work machine.
Hey Andrew, just wondering if this has been claimed yet?

I spent a bit of time trying to figure it out last night and I seem to have it breaking pretty consistently with these steps.

1) Open 3 tables. Also 9 works, which is how I first figured it out but I simplified to 3 for ease and it broke just the same.
2) Table prioritisation switched on and working.
3) Wait until a table is highlighted - as the priority table.
4) Close that table, by clicking the X in top right corner, and confirming to exit, but not clicking any of the action buttons on the table.

Table priority now broken.

5) close client and when tables reopen the prioritization is fixed.

Hi again, just updating some of my results and came across a nice improvement to the flops seen search that probably wouldn't be very hard to add...

The ability to specify time as well as date, which could be the unibet CET time if that is easier to implement. Reason this would be useful is I'm just building into my report how many hands I played each day (flops seen, i'm just gauging relative volume), but I stopped playing at about 2am yesterday and 2am just now, and it would be nice to be able to query the flops seen tool to find out how many hands I've played.

I did it in mainly nl50 and/but raked half of the total rake last month. So its very doable and took around 370 total hrs during last quarter.
I agree it's pretty hardcore for most of the people.

edit: with total grossrake of 10283,82€

In addition to this, there should also be a proper way to navigate through the days - not by pressing left/right buttons which go ONE day in either direction. Probably adding a calendar would be more wise in this case

How does it compare if you only have Unibet open compared to if you have several open? How much CPU usage does task manager say you're on?

If you're talking about what I do in this thread, it's because I know the poker product while people in support don't have the time to. I'd love to one day have a poker specialist on each shift but I think we need to become a higher share of Unibet's revenue than we currently are to get to that stage.

The UO Slot freerolls are multi-entry so it should solve the problem of lots of useless tickets. Of course, lots of people don't care about relatively small freerolls regardless, but I think new players are more interested in that stuff than the hardcore.

Thanks - someone PM'd me with a similar solution a month ago, and on Wednesday the developers have confirmed that it was indeed the source of the problem. You weren't to know that I'd already received that PM though, so I'll credit you with €50 in tickets as a runners-up prize. In what format would you like them?

I agree, that'd be good. I've added it to the client improvements thread we keep internally.

Did you ever manage to confirm the priority bug where if you close a table at the payment bit priority stops working, that I reported and someone else in the thread did?

Ps
