Seems like the table balancing in MTT's may be a bit glitchy. Just late-regged for the 2€ Unibet Open qualifier and there were 18 players left. I got seated with a short stack heads-up, shoved QT and won vs A2. One hand later another player gets moved to the table and we play another three hands of heads-up (still 17 left) until the last 16 get rebalanced on two tables.

The Jan mission is about HU SNG and a few specific tournaments. I'm not sure what we'll do for the main Feb promo but something to do with SNG would make sense.

Since we launched in March, HU SNG traffic is up 38.86% and 5-max up 39.13%. This sounds good, but the rest of the site is up 65.74% as of yesterday. So I think there's definitely room for improvement and it'd be interesting to see what we can do.

Any suggestions? I don't want to do too much to encourage just high-volume, so I'm not a huge fan of Battle of the Planets style promos.

I'm afraid I can't find out for sure as people aren't online, but I believe we just update it once on Monday. We should also use the first alias that someone uses.

I like this because it gives people a chance at a pretty big prize, and it makes higher stake games softer. I'm not sure how we'd build this kind of promo but I'll give it some thought. I think we can probably do most of this within the existing mission structure.

I guess the downside is that it'll make more good players play NL4, but perhaps not for too long.

Yup, bug. Turns out that we awarded about 4k tickets too many. One industrious player received 84.

But it's not the end of the world. If some of the people who received a ton of tickets start purposely losing down to 50bb then cashing out, we'll probably remove them, but for the moment I think we'll just live with it.

It's not a terrible thing to inject 15k more into NL4, particularly as milestones are over and we don't have much in the way of promos for those players until next month.

I'll be interested to see how many of the 84 tickets that player manages to keep alive...

No problem. I'm afraid I will not be converting NL4 tickets gained via the mission on the 24th.

But what we will be doing is doubling the double-trouble prizepool from next week onwards (29th). We had 2k back in March but now that the tournament is automated and we're 70% bigger, it makes sense to increase the pool too.

I'm on now because I wanted to see how much damage the mission bug caused on the 24th, and I figured I may as well do 2 + 2 now that I'm on my work machine. The 24th is also the day that most of Scandinavia and much of Europe celebrates Christmas, rather than the correct day (25th, obviously). See you all again after Christmas!

I already mentioned that Jan's mission is about HUSNG and a few specific tournaments. I wanted to see what kind of tourney traffic we could drive by stating specific tournaments that players should enter, it could be an interesting tool.

I've also already mentioned various Challenge improvements, but we will also start every existing player on 50% completion of their first NLHE and their first PLO Challenge for the quarter. Think of it as a January sale.

The other Challenge improvements are:

- If a player earns > 1m points in Q1, any excess points they earn in-between payout stages will be rolled over to next quarter. E.g. if someone earns 1.35m by the end of the quarter they hit a payout at 1.25m but the next payout is not until 1.5m. That player will roll 100k points over to the start of the next quarter.

- If a player completes at least one major Challenge by the time the quarter ends, they will be given partial credit for partially completed Challenges. This applies to Q1 payouts – it isn’t rolled over now.

- Players can discard one Challenge of each type per month. No partial credited is awarded in this instance but it means players can swap a Challenge that they do not enjoy.

- Each Challenge pays out points based on how many hands that particular Challenge takes, rather than an average.

- There are 7 new major Challenges and 2 new minor.

Going forwards, we'll double the payout for Double Trouble.

Finally, our biggest promo in Jan is a €50,000 flops race with a very flat payout structure. It awards 17k at NL100+, 17k at PLO100+, 8k at NL10-50, and 8k at PLO10-50. 600 places in total will be paid out. This is going to be disproportionately valuable for PLO players, as we think we're near some big liquidity gains in those games. Since launch, PLO has grown 129% (20% so far in Dec alone) and I think there's lots more room for improvement.

DBL trbl payout increase and low rake at 4nl are two great examples of how well you treat your micro players. Pkr have lotteries for VIP members And the lower three VIP levels get 1/4 less chips than everyone else. Stars have VIP tournaments that pay nothing in relation to runners unless higher VIP.

This is why your such a good site for micro players, and we can await challenge news knowing it will still be relevant to us. Great work, great site, thanks

feature request: search hand history for cards dealt (e.g. im looking for a certain hand just dealt and i can just enter the cards i was dealt and it refines search)

What about a promo that offers the players a jackpot when they win a SNG e.g. 5 times in a row. Different jackpots awarded over the different stakes.

Don't know how feasible this would be to program, but how awesome a challenge would be that rewards good play. Every time you get it all in, in a SNG with the best hand you win a point - something like that (regardless of outcome of the actual hand)

This would encourage volume, but also good play

I have a few propositions for next year and I think it would be good for you to at least take them into consideration:

1) I said this a couple times before, but still I think this is most important - make client more fluid so people can enjoy it more

2) Add any kind of progress bar for rakeback, at least 5% (in addition to challenges). Because people like to see at least some kind of progress after a session, and when they feel stuck with challenges, it may be comforting to see it. And it is also very possible that people are just accustomed to see progress bar from other poker sites, it is almost like a tradition of sort. That being said, cancellation of challenges once per month is very welcome addition.

3) Do something about Fast games. Especially because you are going to be on Android. IMO, mobile players much more prefer faster action, and your Fast tables are unfortunately dead and that is certainly not a good thing. I propose having them function like normal tables until there are at least 3-4 full tables, then make them switch players. Also, some promotions that are not so intensive like Rake races, but more subtle like faster acquirement of challenge points when playing Fast etc.

Lastly, continue working on fixing those little bugs like Tourney lobby player and prize pools, names of table windows etc. Those are small things but can mean a lot to players when they see a fully functional client. Even if one quarter you don't add any new features, but only fix existing bugs, it would be a big deal.

Still, I'm very pleased with the client as it is, and I wish you all the best in the next year, and additional 300% growth, at least

Sorry if this came up before but I was wondering if there were any plans to change the minimum buy-in to cash-games for the specific circumstances where a players cash ticket has fallen below the required 50bb and could then buy in with whatever they have left on that ticket?

I only had €2.83 left of my 25NL ticket when I had to leave but would have liked the opportunity to try and double it up again later. I can see how this feature could be more frustrating to people with 49bb left or higher stakes tickets.

While on the subject, I would be thankful if my 4 €10 sng tickets could be converted into cashgame tickets An Alias: WildStylez
