Hi,

Is anyone else getting the table resize glitch (esp bigger to smaller) where you have to click on the table after to get the seats to realign? I don't really give a turkey cause I can just click to resize it but I just want to make sure others are getting this and not some funk with my pc. Never used to happen.

I just started using this site & played a few Micro Tourneys and it's not bad.. If these guys managing the site don't want to advertise and grow the player pool, I hope they'll sell it to someone who has more ambition. SWC has potential.

What's the deal with all the freaking big O?

I'm trying to play the normal non-lame 4 card variations and they do not get going as well.

On the other hand, if someone is starting or at least playing these games do you think you could chime in why big O is better? I don't think it's more popular on stars for example.

So frequently you will have an annoying 5th card.

PLO8 is just fine. Stop it with the 5 card nonsense.

LOL, you mad broseph? Big plo had a lot of action and from medium to high limits before swc started treating its customers like ****. Big plo has a lot of action that peops like. Too bad swc has 12 players peak according to poker scout at its busiest time. Those players are low low stake ones at that. GG Swc.

Well I'm just complaining that a lame game constantly runs which I don't specialize in. I could learn it and become better but it's just such a lame game. I simply wanted a reason why anyone plays 5 card other than 'peeps like action'

You seem to be upset about something completely different. I think they treat their customers great. I am paying the lowest price to play poker that I have ever payed in my life. Those lame monthly freerolls did nothing for the site and only had a bunch of people selling their accounts for freerolls.

You actually have to play poker if you want a site to grow. Not just play free rolls. The leaderboard also got cut down because there were too many pair bonds forming which is just another form of not playing poker kinda.

It's not just low stakes. People play what people seed. I see high limit players get action in fixed limit, plo, nl, plo8. But you only get action if you seed it.

Look at the action Misai has been getting. Very high limit.

Again cool story brospeh. Swc did everything possible to make the site unplayable including not changing versions people can play on , hand histories that are completly useless because they don't work . Im sure I have more rake points then you. You don't get any action as you say due to the fact that everyone has left the site. Maybe you can scare up a big plo during peak time. Big btc sunday tourneyis now a 20 dollar entry fee.

And yes peops like big plo because it is an action inducing game much like people switched from nl holdem to plo because of the lack of constant action. Is the extra card that is issued in big plo that much of a change that you have to study it to play? If so then lol. I am saying the guy running the site now Glitch chased away everyone by being a humongous douche whenever he woke up with a hangover which was all the time.

Ok. Fair enough. You did not even address one of my points so I can just assume you don't like the site.

Why not play somewhere else?

Why post in this thread?

While not perfect seals is a pretty good online site for whats available.Customer service could be better but where is that not the case. At least I feel like I am playing other actual human beings and its not run with bots. Game selection obviously is great and is always something running low to mid stakes. Add the fast cash outs and its pretty good. I am actually surprised there is not more traffic but I ain't complaining.

I did address why big plo is so popular. You didn't agree with my stance that people like alternate games like big plo because the create tons of action and loose play which is good for the game. I even enjoyed the coucherville which showed the first card of the flop. Its all irrelevant as seals is practically a ghost town inhabited by about 8 ring players on average. Happy ghost busting to you though

I still post in this thread because I miss the original swc and ownership. A true shame that new ownership doesn't know how to run a site or appreciate their players. I tried to suggest the site giving 50 percent rake back or something of that nature to players starting games and ole glitcho typed I should have my chat banned. Having 50 percent until 3 handed is lame and cheap. The site got rid of all perks so everyone left as you suggested for me to do. Guess im returning the favor and enjoying my gloating.

Thanks for explaining courchevel.

No one is talking about making a living off of swc.

It's just an easy 500 bucks a month which adds up kinda.

But not to a baller like you?

proof with hud you winning 500 a month? Not that it matters though site is dead maybe you can singlehandedly get it double traffic if 8 of your poker playing friends join. Good luck with the promoting.

When I try run the software, it opens in my taskbar, but there is no lobby visible. Anyone else having issues with the software bugging?

Try right clicking on the taskbar icon and look for an option like restore or unminimize. Something like that.

How much is "1 Chip" actually worth? It would be nice to have an option to convert everything to USD instead of listing everything in "Chips, Krill, and BTC making everyone use calculators or converters.

PS... it doesnt say anywhere on the site how much 1 Chip is worth..

It is listed on the FAQ actually: https://swcpoker.eu/swcpoker-faq/#Chip

Quote:
1 Chip on SwCPoker is worth 0.001 BTC. This unit is also known as a milli-Bitcoin (mBTC). 1,000 Chips is equal to 1 Bitcoin.
1 chip = 0.001 BTC = ~$0.70
1000 chips = 1 BTC = ~$700

Oh I think it's reasonable to make 10-20 bucks a day off of swc. You interpret my 500 bucks a month as a brag. I'm just saying if you have job where you can fish in the background a bunch of seals tables you can make extra money especially 2/3 handed. Play whatever game you want. Whatever I seed tends to get action but i'm small stakes so don't expect tons of high limit action, just soft action.

mid stakes mix been goin pretty much every day now which is nice. I'm not sure what has prompted the extra action, but BTC has gone so high that some guys are getting $500+ in rb weekly for playing less than 5k hands/week!

so I was a player back in the Mavens days, and confused... there is VERY little ring game traffic, I have to think an Android client is never coming, any promos/advertising is non existent... how is SWC still around? I really like the room, but the place has been stagnant for a long time now... where is the overhead coming from?... surely "loyalty" hasn't taken them this far right?

At 2 AM EST there was a 15/30 2-7 and 3 player 5 pt OFC as well as 8-10 other games like 100PLO and smaller, some of which are pretty small.

But the mix games and OFC have been running pretty much everyday at decent stakes. As I said before, I'm not sure why there has been an increase in traffic over the last month or two; maybe it has something to do w the rise in BTC.

Also, w these off shore sites serving Americans, they all seem to **** us over at some point, so the longer a US facing site can be reputable and sustain a little traffic, the farther it gets ahead by other sites (like Merge) and even Bovada/Ignition doing things to sabotage their poker growth.

Yeah, I have seen an increasing number of new players lately. And the bitcoin value rising and being in the news always helps. It seems like it would be the opposite but action has always increased as BTC rises.

I think part of it may be more people from other sites like Ignition learning about bitcoin and coming to try out SwC. I just played with a guy last night that said he had played on Ignition but was trying SwC because of the low rake.

Agree. It depends on the time of day, what stakes and which games you want to play, but for the most part you can usually find action.

Big O seems to be the most popular game, along with OFC... and then depending on what people were in the mood for that day stuff like 2-7, 12-game and Dealers Choice.

A lot of time there are more of those games running than NLH - probably because you can play NLH anywhere - but even there I've always found that once you get 2 players going you can usually get 6.

I've heard a lot of players that say they don't want to play HU but will join when it's 3 handed. So if you're willing to play HU for awhile and hit the "Request Action" button you should be able to get a table going up to 200nl most times.

Plus you get 50% rakeback while playing 2 or 3 handed.
