Fair enough, sorry for the undue adversial tone...

I guess I really like the rake/strategy I see on SwC, and tend to think that traffic can come organically from that. They do have promoswell thought in that sense... (e.g. their BBJ structure basically makes NL midstakes games feed microstakes games,...). Seals v1.0 ended up with a fairly decent traffic before the shutdown years ago, ...We'll see.

haha to me it's more a feature than a bug.

There's virtually no way to offset btc$ pirce movements : you'd have to open a short position and always update it with the swings of your BR, risk of being liquidated, increase your custodial risk,...a real pita ;

There are plenty of sites when you can depo in btc and have your BR in $ tho.

ya i talked to several entities regarding that. they dont really see this as a place to make any $. as a player, you get basically nothing (that i could find anyway) by using a referral code. if you do want to help out one of the sites that offers ref codes, you can easily find one with google.

One feature that I think is pretty cool is the BTC to fiat conversion that can be accessed in the chatbox. It will you how many chips is equal to corresponding value in USD, CAD, AUD, and a bunch others. If makes it easy to figure out how many chips someone can get for $X. I haven’t seen an instant real time converter on an online poker site before

While I genuinely like the site, I have to warn people about OFCp on SWC. With people being able to create multiple accounts and the massive advantage you get to know two players' dead cards in 3handed OFCp, the amount of baby seal accounts that only join you in pairs is ridiculous, and I have played literally hundreds of rounds on there.

They are unwilling to monitor the game or change the rules, so I advice you to only play games where the advantage is smaller (or HU).

I am absolutely certain that the integrity of the OFCp games on SWC is severely lacking.

Can you share usernames and/or stakes that you suspect?

I can't prove it obviously, but people I suspect are sketchy atleast:

Arya44+hardtime (either same person or mates)

veganhippie (boss seal with the most krill on the sites who miraculously wins every session even though he is a massive, massive fish. And I mean EVERY session, I haven't seen him lose a day.)

jaqkt was using solvers in real time on the old software and then disappeared when I outed him. No refunds.

Probably missing some, might add when they come to mind.

Again, I can't prove it but it's enough for me to stay away and I'm not generally paranoid about this stuff.

Oh, stakes 100/p up to 500/p (roughly 50c up to $2.50 per point)

Veganhippie? He isnt the highest nor at the highest rank. I've seen him lose plenty of chips on cash tables. I seriously doubt he is shady. I've seen him crushed on cash tables.

Who has more than him (1.5m krill+)?

Maybe he's legit, I just have my doubts. I think it's problematic when many of the oldschool players are personally chummy with the chat mods and/or the guys running the site. That plus they do absolutely nothing against confirmed scammers (DogeDigital, I forgot that guy before: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2207833.160) doesn't make for a very trustworthy environment.

Hardtime literally only plays heads up, so that destroys your whole argument. You are saying that people are sharing cards at 3 handed chinese with no evidence, and the first person you brought up always sits at only 2 handed tables, or sits out if a 3rd person sits, he has never played a hand of 3 handed chinese on swc 3.0

Misia for one.

I don't see vegan as a bad guy. Like I said, I've seen him spew chips. I don't know his story, either. The site has the potential for troubles, but the traffic is so low it is almost all regs.

This is verifiably untrue. Hey hardtime!

Yes, I do not doubt that vegan spews chips, as I said he is a massive fish. But he somehow keeps ending up every single day in profit, follow his tables for a while.

Whatever, I just won't play OFCp there anymore.

Can someone give me a quick idea of the equivalent stakes on SWC? The math is confusing me at the moment. I usually play 10NL and 25NL and I deposited $100(19,000 chips). Thanks!

1000 chips is currently $5.23. Btc is 5237 and 1 MM chips is equal to 1 btc.

At the current value, 25 chips is like $.13

Divide bitcoin by 1MM and then multiply it by the amount of chips. 1 chip is about half a penny

This site is not a safe site to play on.

It's a dictatorship with heavy favoritism towards certain players.

They have cheated me multiple times in the past. Glitch is the judge, jury and executioner there. He doesn't even have time to put together a tournament schedule. Why? What is he so busy doing? Moderating chat and what else?

Their 2.0 site was so rampant with sitebots designed to take your money during the last leg of Bryan Micon's reign that action had dried up to ZERO. ZILCH. NADA.

They're trying to lure "customers" back in with the BBJ and mixed games, and it will only be a matter of a time until they start raping and pillaging people again. They have a disdain for me, and they have already cheated me on 3.0.

"Glitch" even posted a link to a video in chat saying how he hated me.

There is people that work here that have no lives and special interests in the outcomes of the games.

This is a pathetic place to play poker. There shouldn't be so much politics in a card room.

PLEASE PLAY SOMEWHERE SAFE.

Then stop whining and go play someplace else. If you're who someone said you are, then any decent human being would have a disdain for you.
