Okay I hope you don't change late registration time from level 12 to level 6.
In the last days I had a observed the Uppercut $50k tournament end 32% of the players registered between level 6 and level 12.
In addition to that if you observe who registered before the tournament starts, you can see that they are mostly regular players and no hobby players.

but 10 Bigblinds is not Pure Poker

Cannot proove that but I have a strong feeling that almoste all players who latereg between level 7 & 12 would also latereg in level 6 if it is the end of latreg.

Also - as those tournys are supposed to play like WPTs... They usually have latreg until the first hand on day 2 is dealt, where blinds are starting with 100/400/800.

Honestly, it is just super annoying when 30k stacks popup @BB 2,400... there is enough gamle turbos out there on the internet, if we get get to play decently deepstacked with this awesome structure, please don't kill that with super long lat reg.

So how many of those 32% you think wouldn't register at all if the latereg time is decreased?

Of course some of the players would register before level 6 but it will be harder for partypoker to hit guarantees.
That means that in long term perspective they have to reduce the guarantee again which is bad for everyone.
For example they had the same problem with the Sunday Highroller Tournament ($530 Buyin).
They changed the structure for the benefit of a longer late registration period and now they hit the guarantee nearly every single time.

So I just re-read the discussion. Rob Yong posted something on Facebook saying latereg times will be halved so now you are worried Party won't hit the guarantees anymore?

Let's wait until there is some official news about the changes

I doubt they are making latereg time that short. I think 12 levels is a bit too long but agree 6 levels is too short. As they've been making good decisions regarding MTTs lately I don't think they'll **** up the latereg time change, either

Yes, it is, because those people would have to lose much more chips on average if they had to enter earlier

I don't mind them - even though there's not much money to be taken from them directly, at least their presence allow the guarantees to grow and some of them wouldn't enter if they had to start with deep stacks.

I'd prefer to enter late myself if I had to play a $109 ticket through - I think my tourney equity would be less than $100 if I played the MTT from the start vs all the specialists of the format, whereas if I enter late and flip, it's almost exactly $100 in only a few minutes on average, after which I can go back to earning that rakeback again in SnG Hero.

Having a $5 rebuy and a $10 freezeout would be cool. Not sure why you guys are so against $10 freezeouts. $5 to $20 is a pretty big jump

Is there a support thread for bwin specifically?

Using a seating script is forbidden and will result in a ban
Yes we are still taking action
Should you suspect certain players please PM myself the screen name and the relevant team will investigate
The ban is for all players - VIP included

Not saying there can't be players using seating scripts but using my waitlist function can look like a seating script in some situations

What is the my waitlist function? It would probably be helpful if there was something to indicate when someone had used it to sit down to distinguish from scripters.

@ Party Rep. These new tournaments you discussed on the previous page (ie rebuys), are they just on Sundays? I can't see them in the lobby for tomorrow?
