My guess is they use that to monitor programs you are running while playing pp.

I downloaded and imported all my hands from last week to PT4 and it seems like there are a lot of hands missing.
PT says I played 7k hands less than it says in the party poker software and it shows me a lot less winnings than my BR says.

Anyone made the some experience and knows how to get it right?

Hi.

When making a deposit on Partypoker they charge around 7-8% on the exchange rate. They do the same on cashouts so you will get charged a minimum of 15%. I use paysafecard but have used neteller-skrill and everything is the same. Question is if anyone have any other way to make a deposit where they dont charge that much? Play 1/2 - 5/10 PLO so it is a lot of money. ( I have to deposit in $ but they force me to cashout in € so more than 15% ) Really like the games at party but no way I am paying that much to play.

Thx

I'd like to see the math on that. People often complain about currency exchange vig on different sites, but it's usually the same 2-4% you always see; they just weren't expecting it. The wording you used of "on the exchange rate" rather than on top of/in addition to makes me wonder how you're calculating it.

Hi

Deposit

NOK 10,69 For 1$ NOW In the bank

NOK 11,56 For 1$ NOW at Partypoker

Cashout

First they convert it from $ to € With bad rate off course.

Then you have the same exchange rate back to NOK

Norwegian KR

Get a Revolut card and do the exchange yourself for far less money, free if it's small currency swaps

I didn't quite get how the math was done on this one, but know sometimes banks give bad exchange rates, so the direction of exchange matters (and timing matters as fx rates in general are volatile these days...).

Anyway it sounds like the spread is pretty wide. Are you able to open a USD account at your bank in Norway? I had similar problems in Canada and found I could get around this by having a USD bank account and sending the money back and forth as USD.

With PS they do a normal exchange rate close to what the banks use witch is fine and they let me cashout in $.

Partypoker use a terrible exchange rate and the worst is when I want to cashout they force me to cashout in € so they convert my cashout in $ to € taking a big % when doing this. If I could do the cashout in $ I would only get the terrible exchange rate on deposits. Not possible to have a $ account with my bank.

Hello,

My apologies if this is a stupid question, but is the rakeback on party worth it? I'll expand it: I'm currently playing on stars - cool software, soft games yada yada, but the rakeback offer on pp sounds attractive and I'd like to give it a go.

Tried to find some reviews but I'm too lazy to get too deep into research so its more comfortable to ask here.

I'm planning to play between 2k-5k hands of fastforward per day starting with NL10-NL25 probably. Would this be a good transition?

The games are an order of magnitude harder on Party.

And you're playing against a good number of bots, especially at the spin n goes.

Edit: What do you call a player that doesn't adjust their limp/fold strat or widen ranges vs a player that shoves all-in every hand over 30+hands? At the 20-50$ stakes of spins? Never responds in chat?

Seriously suspect this dude is a bot -_-

Yeah I've been reading yesterday evening after I posted that questions and apparently there are tons of bots on pp, I'm 100% convinced somehow without even playing, but this is good for pp since the games are rolling on a constant basis so I don't see them doing anything about it.

I've changed my mind, I won't deposit and play on partypoker given those conditions, I'll just open ****ing chests on PS

You could allso just play x ammount of hands to get the feel of the games. But yeah games are harder at pary because of the races in ff.

Hi,

I have a party poker account but I set it up as $ account. I like in the UK so I guess I should have set it up as a GBP account to avoid bad currency transaction rates when depositing and withdrawing to my bank account. Is there any was to change my account to a GBP account?

They let me change the other way, and told me I could only do it once. So make sure it's what you want.

You can change the main currency if you contact support.

At 888, it was a mistake to have an account in a different currency but I don't remember if the deposit and account currencies were different. One could change it with the chat. At Party, it might not cost a thing to have an euro account and play with dollars but I haven't seen it in practice.

Question about the cash game leaderboard:
The search function should give a result for anyone who has even a fraction of a point right? I played some FF yesterday and definitely made reward points, but I am not seeing myself on the list.
Fast Forward should work as far as I understand the rules.

What is the mail address of the support otherwise? I am not finding one at the bwin or party site.
Thanks

(I am not winning anything anyway, but was really curious why my name is not showing up)

Can anyone with a £GBP or Euro account confirm that there is no vig when buying into and cashing out of tournaments and cash games?

There has never been a vig in this case. It's been asked and answered several times during the history of this thread

You can check it yourself by noting down the rate you get when you buy in and out from the table and then comparing to the mid market rate that you can google.
