I found that if I do not log in to the client, not the number of GDI objects not increases at lobby refreshing. Also I have one friend who has no ticket, and it too has no increase of GDI objects after log in.

Seems client create a brush (by CreateSolidBrush) to draw the rectangle and there is no DeleteObject for it.

Party programmers, please check it.

Party emailed me with an offer of a no-deposit $25 bonus. I wonder if it's because they noticed I haven't played there in 3 weeks.

Hello.

I thought about depositing money at Party but now I am scared. They are not answering my questions for 11 days. Live chat never works. Do you have some similar problems with them? I thought about some financial problems if they don't have money for good working support. Did you hear sth about such problems?

Thanks

Thanks for information.

I had questions about depositing money but now I know how to handle with my problem. I really don't know why they are not responding to me by email (sent 9 email in different addresses in 11 days)

Hi all,

In a recent feature discussion, a number of you raised a question concerning focus around new feature development and live bug resolution.

You have every right to be frustrated with any live bugs appearing in our software. We are just as, if not more, frustrated because we hate to be providing a poor experience and we take all live bugs very seriously.

There have been questions around why we continue to focus on new features when we have live bugs. The answer is that we have teams dedicated to their resolution but also other teams looking at new features for our software because in such a competitive market, we cannot stand still.

Live bugs remain our top priority and, if necessary, the teams focusing in this area will be scaled up at the sacrifice of new feature development.

We definitely do not neglect the live bugs you inform us about and we continue to welcome the valuable feedback you provide through this forum. There will be times we reach out to you to provide more details about the issues you face and the answers to these questions help us to isolate the problems faced by you, our players.

We thank you for the feedback you continue to provide and we continue to work to resolve the issues you face as quickly as possible.

Thanks all,
Vas

You receive a ticket. It's a must play, but you can play that same tournament on a different day.

He's correct, Party is definitely not standing still, it's been going backwards for months.

It's better to do one thing really well, then try and 'keep up' and do 10 things very poorly. You really do not need to innovate too much, the simple solutions are often the best.

Wouldn't it be better to just task everybody with bug-fixing for the next few weeks (months)?

This is what Bill Rini did back in 2008:
Quote:
The team here at PartyPoker would like this opportunity to announce something rare: a release where none of the hard work we’ve put in is instantly visible to our players!

Instead, we have spent the last 45 days digging into and optimizing the very core of our software. We have focused on hundreds of tweaks and fixes which in aggregate dramatically improve the stability of the poker client and ensure that all players get a consistently high-quality experience.

The results have been impressive. We are recording dramatically better performance and stability – in particular over long session times and whilst running multiple tables.

However, as encouraged as we are by these numbers, we’re still fine-tuning some things and hope to get the number of ongoing issues as close to zero as possible. As part of that effort, we’ve created a debug version of the client, which players with ongoing problems can download by contacting our customer service department. It will create a detailed crash report that will help our engineers further diagnose and eliminate performance-related bugs.

In short, we’re listening, and we’re committed to creating the best possible experience for all of our players. So please don’t hesitate to let us know your thoughts, comments, and problems surrounding our platform, and while we can’t respond to each suggestion individually we will certainly consider each and every submission.

And for those of you for whom performance issues kept you away from the best tables in online poker, we ask you give it another try!

Good luck at the tables.

quick question:
is the famous "graphics bug" the same as the MFC application error (where the software instantly crashes) or does it happen prior to it?

the ladder happens to me quite often...

Started to happen today for me and I believe that its a different problem?

Party_Rep: seriously if zour software crashes several times per day, than nobody takes care what cool features you have implemented...

+1. Beyond ******ed. Like spending loads of $ buying new parts and accessories for a car with a failing engine that shuts off every time you go take it for a long drive. Pointless.

Truth is they probably don't know how to fix it, and can't come out and say that. I've told them time and time they need new people for software, but they seem to keep avoiding that issue. I can't wrap my head around this site so I don't think about it anymore. Everything they do doesn't make sense on so many levels.

Adding CCG 10/20 was the only recent decision IMO that was a good one.

Anyone experiencing problems? Tables lagging, sitout not detected correctly... blinds posted when sitout button is activated....

I dont think this site has improved one bit in the last 8 years.

OH and missing money in my account of course.

zomg....playing one MTT on Party, lose my connection....so close down the client, reopen, and it says 'Sorry, we are currently experiencing technical issues, Please try again later.

Meanwhile, I can see the lobby fine, and open open my table and action going on without me (I'm not logged in obv).

well played Party, well played

Yes, I did.

I'll try again today and will report here.

Can I delete my tournament tickets to try to fix the bug? I won't use it.

I change the tables tab (where the tournament tickets are showed) to another tab (cashier, settings or whatever) where the tournament tickets don't appear and I could play a session without the card bug. And TST still works.

I don't know if this is a fix (with increase the GDI) but at least I could play.
