From now on we should post our OS to see if it's specifically mac, pc, etc. My old Mac running an older OS was way buggier than my new mac (Sierra). If it's OS specific maybe they can fix it with a patch or whatever? I also was having a lot of issues with ACR but started using a virtual PC program and it works great now. Maybe Carbon is better suited to Windows?

Also I just cashed in the $1.5k and it was simultaneously asking if I wanted to re-enter.

Have they segregated player pools again? Saturday afternoon and there's not a single nl200 running? Not even the german/austrian bot ring is on... maybe thats what killed the room? are they banned?

I only remember a couple italian based players? idk its been so long, but i do remember they had identical stats as the italian bots on intertops, and intertops had low traffic then as carbon does now (coincidence i think not)... Online poker is so awesome these days.

Im confused why sites do nothing about it.

I find carbon just great and great to play !! :-)

@upswinging: What do you mean exactly with the german / austrian bot ring?

At the moment there are still some German and Austrians. They can not sign up again i think.

best regards

What else is there to say? This was a while ago? So I don't know what it's like now. There were over a dozen accounts, joined within the same timeframe, from the same smallish ROW country... all with almost identical stats playing on a US facing site? What more do you want?

little more digging reveals they have very similar stats to the bots that were banned at stars... and go through your data base you find they play very few all ins against one another... and to top it all there were 5-6 of them playing literally 24 hours a day in shifts (a couple would sign off after who knows how many hours, and not 10 minutes later a couple german account would replace them)

and carbon did nothing.

while they werent particularly difficult to play against the weaker regs and fish got absolutely killed (and seeing what traffic is like now a couple years later it's no surprise traffic is dead)

The better players on average, well maybe they are bots are the above mentioned, can sprinkle in some Spain too. All the regs at least to 200nl are predominately Germans. One of the best, in my opinion the best player is Italian Tuxedo, he plays 200-500.

You're absolutely right. Tuxedo also sits at my table more often. He is really extremely strong. But did not know he is from Italy. Do you regularly play on carbon?

OK. I have to take a closer look. I am German and I have not noticed that there are sooo extremely many German. And do you mean there are really bots or just extremely good players? I do not know about technology at all. Read again and again that the effort bots to create should be extremely large. This is why it is always difficult to imagine. But clear ... Where to make money is always cheated ...

Guys like Oxygen and Dieseriene (sp) play very very similar. There stats are virtually identical over 1000s of hands sample yes, I play anywhere to 50-500, went on a terrible run, I obviously have more mental leaks than I would like to admit. My main game on here was 200nl, but not for the last several months (I suck). All the fish are U.S. most the regs are not.

Play on Carbon, Winning is terrible, terrible and more terrible. Software stinks, they keep getting DDOS attacks during big tourney series', their customer service is the worst.

Carbon has it's downsides but overall the play is better, the software is way better and the customer service is pretty decent. The cashouts via bitcoin are taking about 2 to 3 days per my experience. The 5% fee is meh but worth it.

***Unless you are a beast then stay away

Don't get why more people don't play here.

Software has gotten WAY worse lately. It quit on me TWICE in the middle of big hands and instead of giving me a time extension it immediately folded me out of the hand even though it only took me about 10 seconds to reload the software and get back to my tables. ****ing insane. Running mac osx sierra on a macbook air

Oh yea ISP's are another annoying factor! I have my phone on standby as a wifi hotspot just in case I need an alternate connection.

Support actually responded quickly to my complaint about the software crashing and gave me a free $33 ticket! Plus I final tabled anyway Bonus!!!!

5% fee for bitcoin. that's why i don't. there is absolutely no reason that they need to charge that. if it were another w/d method, i could understand. add to that no players, and there is no reason to play on merge over bovada or global (except possibly rakeback/bonus).
