That's because Mac support among poker sites was horribly lagging for years.

Of course they did, and they did because of the point 39suited was trying to make... there was no point in using a bunch of resources toward a client that is only for a tiny percentage of the market.

It only makes sense if you use a software client that can be improved consistently and simultaneously for either platform and without too much effort. Especially Winamax and Unibet have done a fine job on that so far.

RIP merge. If you can't pay the people wont play. Move your money before its too late people. Seems like the Ponzi train is warming up its engine.

I've used Merge for years now and have never been worried. But I tried to log into my account and it said it was suspended. I contacted them and they said it was due to a charge-back request from my bank. I checked into it and realized that a charge for $350 was disputed along with a few random fraud purchases from when I lost my card at a pub. So I called my bank and removed it from the dispute. I had't received my money bank and the transaction was over a month old and they had received the funds weeks before. I then got a message saying that I needed to send them $350 via cash transfer. And it needed to be within 5 business days or my account would be perma deleted. WTF!!!! I confirmed with my bank and even had them send an email to support to confirm that no funds will be returned nor had they been. And emailed a them a copy of my bank statement to prove it. It really sounds like they are trying to scramble as much money as possible to stay afloat. Why not just take the $350 from my account balance if this was truly the way they represented? This among other reasons makes me glad I have removed all my action from this network.

I'm gone for 4 months and all hell breaks loose. Haven't caught up news-wise yet but sounds like Merge is Mergin' pretty hardcore these days. Not really surprised given their history, but sucks that players are out dough. Seen too much of that with Lock not to know how it affects real people.

The way that credit card works is via 3rd party processors - none of these sites are processing any of their own transactions anymore thanks to BF.

Given what you've already done, you're probably better off keeping the disputed amount and sending the cash to rectify your account. There probably is NO way for them to verify via that old CC processor that the charge was no longer disputed.

Given that I believe your point was that there is "no good reason why any viable business wouldn't include a MAC option", no, I don't think it does. I think cost would be a very good reason not to run out creating a Mac option when they have somewhere between 10-20% of desktop/laptops (likely much closer to 10 than 20), and many people run Windows on their Mac for software that is Windows-only.

question about satellites: i know it doesn't work with the satts that are specific like "Nightly High Roller Sat", but can you successfully warehouse the coupons in OPS events from the satts that say "coupons won will auto reg into next available event"?

do they pull some **** like un-register you from an OPS tournament and put you in a nightly when your client is closed?

The problem is I never got the disputed amount back. So I'm out $350 and I should pay them another $350?! I've got over 2k in my Carbon account. If the situation is as they state why not just take it from my account and be done with it? Even though that would still piss me off because I have not nor will I ever get that $350 back via dispute.

I just had the cash transfer (WU/MoneyGram) and wire transfer withdrawl options taken away on my account, leaving me with only the dreaded check/gift card option for withdrawls. I've had all three options for 3+ years and just picked up a MoneyGram withdrawl yesterday, and now I'm being told that cash transfer and wire transfer have been discontinued and "The withdrawal methods available depend on a series of factors that are taken into account every month by our Withdrawals team."

Has this happened to anyone else? It looks like people are waiting 2 months or more for checks right now, according to the Merge withdrawl thread.

Do we know why this happens? I might as well ask the 2+2 community, as I doubt I'll get an answer from Carbon.

because they might have to actually pay out if they kept those options, right now they are selectively paying people so they will post and SAY CARBON IS AWESOME when everyone see that CARBON IS A LOCK

Not to my knowledge. Have done what you are proposing w/o issue in the past. Currently have 1 coupon on OPS now.

I've been insta-regging OPS to save my sattys and haven't had any problems doing it. Just make sure you reg right away when you win because they will auto reg you within a min. or two.
Merge messed up this morning and auto regged me into the 33 early bird after I had regged the OPS event. It's been an hour and they haven't unregged me from the OPS event...so I'm hopefully freerolling in the 33 ops main lol. Will be mad if they unreg me since I wasn't planning on playing the early bird.

To be perfectly honest, I hope this OPS falls flat on its face.
