You haven't been able to join a specific table waiting list for a long time. Not just after this update. I don't remember exactly when, but I quit Merge back in June 2013 and only just recently started there again. It was that way before I left.

However, I will say that is when joining from the lobby. I have not tried it the way Kahn suggests directly from the table, maybe that will work, I will try it tonight. If so, I bet the shut that down once they figure it out.

Am I the only one who cant right click over a table to add to waitlist anymore?

Uncheck "grouped cash games" in the lobby.

Thanks. also do you have to individualy add to each table now, because when I add to waiting list it only adds to one table on the graphic to the right name of the table, and its always the empty table?

Actually, it only seems to add me to empty tables, this is terrible

So do we have to open a full table and wait for an empty seat like Bovada now???

I have noticed that it also only shows the waitlist icon on empty tables, however I still get sat at full tables when an empty seat becomes available.

Hello folks,

Just wanted to let you all know that I hit the jackpot today, but didn't get the prize money. It's not that big a deal, but thought it was worth sharing. I contacted Carbon Poker and they said they would look into it.

I'll keep you posted on what happens.

UPDATE:

Well, that was a quick response, and sure enough it is in the fine print on their website:

Thank you for contacting us.

In regards to your recent contact, after reviewing the hand Palms VII Hand: #79434793-401 in which you lost against Four of a Kind, Queens; we noticed you were using only one hole card.

Therefore as per the rules " Both the winner of the hand and the qualifying bad beat hand must use both hole cards " unfortunately on this occasion the hand does not qualify for the bad beat jack pot.

We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter. Your reference ID for this email is LTK17134013562250X; please quote this number in any further communication on this subject.

Kind regards,

Steve Garcia

Do you play any live poker? "Both hole cards must play" is a fairly common requirement for live hold 'em bad beat jackpots. If only your J were an ace or king.... Still, it sucks to be that close and not hit it based on your kicker. Adds insult to the injury of losing with quads in the first place.

Has it been discovered yet why some winning regs can only play 2 tables max while other winning regs with nearly identical winrates are allowed to continue to play 16 tables?

Yes, I had been logged in for hours since about 1 AM mountain time, and tried registering for a tourney about 5 AM and it gave me some weird error message that I had never gotten before and then shut down carbon to restart it and it gave me some error message about logging in and to try again later. Out of curiosity, I tried logging into bovada and pokerstars to but they both were having server issues....Even restarted my comp and installed some updates to it and it still is giving me the same messages. Kind of odd that pokerstars and bovada and carbon all down at same time....hopefully all for maintenance and not related to it being another friday...

What is wrong with you? i asked the peak times for $25 games and someone said what did i mean by $25 games so i responded. Why are you so quick to troll without even knowing what is going on? The face i made was embarrassment for not being more specific not at some thought that I'm better then other players. I play $25 micro games lol why would i think i'm better then some other poker player? Def not a brag....

I haven't played on Merge(or any poker) since last year. Can someone tell me why this network is doing so much better than say, WPN? I feel like rakeback is pretty important, so what am I missing?

Better tournaments + better software. Also wpn is probably one of the toughest site to play on rite now.

Click the hand # in upper left hand corner of screen for visual hand hx. On the Carbon calculator, click on tools for the hand replayer.

Merge has almost no promos. The deposit promo is basically a scam. WPN has a good initial deposit promo and 27% rakeback.

Merge has more traffic and softer games.

Merge table restricts winners, WPN does not.

Merge software is a better and less buggy.

I personally play on WPN over Merge because of rakeback, plus deposit promos are better.

I haven't been on Merge in a few months but the games on WPN are not very soft.

You know what they say, those who think the games aren't soft are what makes the game soft.

I play on both ACR and Carbon (just started on Carbon 2 days ago), and think both sites have weak recreational and reg players. However, I'm leaning towards playing on Carbon more because there is way more traffic.

Way more traffic, and about the same amount of suck outs. Just like WPN, Carbon is Potluck Bingo Poker at best.20% skill, 80% luck.
