according to my player admin this month's promotions haven't even come out yet.

I was playing 5 tournaments and it shut down 4 of them. I am a little pissed. Does anyone know if this has happened before?

Seems like this happens a bit too often. Do you tourney players get refunds when this **** happens? I just play cash, so I'm usually not out anything when the software gets glitchy...

Promos are live. Just go to main page and there is a leader board active for race to riches.

How come they can't figure out how to put the balance on the client?

They used to have it a long time ago. Don't know why they took it away.

Yeah. They refund the money and the prize pool. Here is a link that I found if anybody is interested.

It was removed when Carbon and Aced left the "Merge Cashier" and swapped to the "Jazette Cashier." For whatever reason, the interface is not the same and they've never reinstated the feature.

I find that the fastest way to check my balance is just to open a cash game table and look when the cashier box opens up

You can also open any SNG or tournament lobby and it displays both your cash and VIP point balances.

Interesting - looks like if there's overlay, and the tournament gets cancelled, the distribution is not of the guaranteed amount but an "adjusted prize pool." That'll help dispel conspiracy theories.

Was the reentry, rebuy period over or still in progress? I don't think they have to pay the guarantee until the reentry or rebuy period is over.

tourny crashes have happened before, will happen again, they have a system to try to correct some of the injustice when it happens but its nature of tourny poker that they could never completely correct it, highly unlikely they ever do it on purpose, ofc they wont pay out the gtd when it happens what if the sunday 100k crashes 5 mins in with 60k overlay?

there is no conspiracy by merge, they are legit as it comes now adays, and will pretty much always payout or fix bounces ect given time, they are just inept and make poor decisions often such as cash game rake increase driving cash players out, tourny schedule change coulda been A LOT smoother, im for the new nightlys but they took away good always making gtd tournies and replaced them with crap and it was by no means a smooth transition that avoided players jumping ship, new vip system is crap, top earners last i checked still havent been giving invite only tier(which should infuriate everyone) got rid of their good promos like free seats to sunday(prob cuz they ****ed up and had to reduce returns due to lower traffic, but just my speculation) sportsbook fencing cash and driving the players cashing out off the client was b.s. as well

all in all merge is legit and reputableish, but yes makes **** decisions often, they are third in u.s. traffic now to my knowledge(72k ranked accounts on opr in 2012 but only 45k in 2013? this a online poker wide trend or just merge any1 knowledgable care to elaborate?) yet i stay there as bovada has anonymous names and wpn does not seem to have full tracking and accountability either(i'm sure they're still legit as well, just personally its an issue with me on principle)

the 33 and 60 were posted late last night at like 3 am, seems odd they were not posted along with the other tournies at those times, mb they were debating the gtd? who knows, they ran tonight and as long as the keep runing every night i guess im not concerned

This has long been one of the best things about online poker. The ease with which the recs can win an MTT and then jump into cash games above their head
