1) All cash games with stakes > 10/20 were removed.

2) I spoke to Intertops on behalf of fixed limit games since a 10/20 fixed limit plays far, far lower than 10/20 PL/NL games. Fixed limit games have been restored back to the 50/100 level (thus, the only level cut was 100/200).

3) Big bet games are still capped at 10/20 unfortunately ( I asked about these also).

4) Insofar as removing them saves money... I have no idea what that is supposed to mean as a standalone statement, though it likely does not mean what I am about to suggest (which is true).

High dollar, low raking players, are not profitable. When a site pays 2-7% to get money on and the same out the back door, a player depositing 10k, raking $200 a month, and then withdrawing 15k of profits or depositing another 10k each month b/c they busto'd does not yield a profit... it yields a loss.

^^^ Whether number 4 is part of their calculation or not, I can not say. But it certainly influenced Merge when Merge removed higher stakes games. Keep in mind, processing costs for US facing networks are MUCH higher than ROW networks. That's what makes offering higher stakes games considerably less/non profitable for them.

Unless something has changed recently, this bug in the 2.0 software has been around for years, and what I posted is "the fix."

I'm actually surprised a lot of the US facing sites still have 5/10+. They rarely run and the rake generated is probably less than what they have to pay in payment processing. Plus, there's probably extra manpower spent on examining chip dumping in these games.

I've had Auto Top Off to 110bbs ever since I found out about this a month ago and it worked fine, but it didn't work during my last session on Monday.

I was just told by support that all cash game/mtt winnings are going to be reviewed by security before being credited to players account. They said there is no time frame as to when the reviews will be finished and it could take hours. This is some kind of sick joke right?

These things are always reviewed by Intertops Risk Department (and theoretically network security but yea... lol) to ferret out chip dumping, cheating, etc.

I don't know if this is a case of tier1 support misinterpreting how things work or some new change in policy. I suppose we will see shortly and/or hear from a rep about this in the early AM EST when they usually read/post on 2+2.

Always have done this. Not a problem until the last two days. Also, my notes are not being saved. Working with support though.

I assume the biggest cause of this is the limited number of high stakes games that are being played? I mean if they were running 10+ tables above 10/20 every day then it seems they would be ok. I remember back in January before that POS site lock segregated their players that there were plenty of higher games running each day. Now it's tough to see a 10/20 running, not counting the bum hunters sitting at heads up tables.

The one complaint I have about this is that Intertops did nothing to notify players that it was happening. Any time a change occurs that will affect players, they should be sending out an e-mail to all account holders to notify them. Communication, communication, communication!!! This is key in life and business. When you don't do it properly people assume things and get pissed. The first thing I thought of when I saw this is oh great, now Tops is segregating their own player pool and starting to act like one of those POS poker sites.

Is that still the case? Just tried and it worked for me.

FL tables above 10/20 have been added.

Best regards,

So still no response to those of us who were locked out?

Yup. Lack of liquidity in the games coupled with high cost = losing money IMO. It happened on Merge, it's possible that this is part of the reason here on Intertops.

And I agree about communication. I talk to people with sway on all these US facing networks and I preach communication. Most don't care. Intertops provides the most information of any of them though. One can not expect all decisions to be explained to players. Perhaps there are reasons they can not.?. I don't know tbh.

After playing a session today I realized it will auto top off the next hand. Also when you lose a BI it will now auto sit you out as if you didn't have auto top off on.

Different color scheme, same 2.0 software. However, Intertops does offer the original Cake software (Intertops themed ofc) as well as the standard 2.0 version.

It doesn't sit me out. What happens is, even though the rebuy happens in what seems to be in time for the next hand, I am not dealt in. This is a very recent change.

Is it just me or are the lobbies extra laggy the last 2-3 days? As in, you go to register for a tournament and it takes much longer than normal for the register check box to open up, almost as if the servers need a reboot or something... and navigating the cashier tabs is slower and so forth

Yes, it used to be that auto-rebuy would work probably 85% of the time for the next hand. However, it feels to me as if over the last few weeks, it works 0% of the time, in time for the next hand... i.e. if I busto a hand and rely on auto-rebuy, I am always missing the next hand.

It reduces my EV and is quite annoyin for sure

Same here, I didn't wanna whine about it, but good to know others are noticing the auto rebuy delay when getting stacked-I'm sure they'll fix it soon

Hi

To counter the recently dramatically increasing number of chip dumping incidents, we have implemented a new security procedure.
All winnings are being reviewed by the network security before they are authorized and credited to the player’s account.
This causes a delay between cashing out of a table / winning a tourney and the accounting process.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we have to take some kind of action to ensure we can still offer our service to our true customers in the future.

@Auto re-buy / Auto top-up

I was able to reproduce the auto-rebuy "bug" that makes you sit-out.
Networks QA team is looking into this right now.

However my auto top-up works as it should. If it does not work for you, please >>email<< me a screenshot with the client's auto rebuy / top up options and your acc details.

Best regards,
The Intertops Poker Team
