The sole reason those three things you mentioned exist is rakeback.

Not the sole reason, 24 tabling is a another. You could give 30% to players and at 4 tables you still couldn't make a living at 25NL.

So you buy into more tournaments and they make more money?

Probably just poor software design.

It's not the sole reason, but it is a big part of it (there's a reason for the table cap and anonymous tables). However, for those of you who seem to be against rakeback I wonder how you'd feel if Bovada lowered their rake. Not that it'd ever happen. But it seems like some people have come to the conclusion that rakeback is a bad thing, when it's effectively the same thing as lower rake.

My thinking is that they don't want you filtering so you have to look at all the different game types. If you can filter you may never decide to try a new game type because you won't ever see it. I hate it as well, but it kind of makes sense. On the cash side I mainly play HU and it drives me nuts I can't filter out 6 max or FR, but I often end up joining a game I other wise wouldn't know about when I see a good one going. Mission accomplished I guess.

I never said I was against rakeback, just that it was the reason that 24 tabling and 25NL pros exist.

Some of us actually have rakeback on Bovada because we're grandfathered in. No, I have no way to get this for anyone else, so don't ask.

I know it can be interpreted as a passive aggressive dig, but that last bit I added was an aside about the attitude of the thread at times, rather than directed at you.

+1

This also has nothing to do with you and Morphs discussion, but it always kind of annoyed me when, like you stated, a lot of people in the forum in various threads for whatever reason can not seem to make that connection and somehow view RB as a gift or perk totally separate from rake collection.

yup. lower rake is massively beneficial to winning players. beyond bigger pots, it keeps the fish in the game far longer. hopefully another site will emerge to contend.

Unfortunately, a lot of players with RB lost it due to shady RB providers who saw it as a way to screw their customers and pocket the extra cash. If you signed up for it though, there is a good chance that someone might be collecting money from your play to this day.

Im not sure what your exact situation is, but Id suggest you visit the affiliate you signed through if they still are around. Perhaps they have been holding your money as there is no direct room deposit.

I remember someone once saying in lieu of getting Holdem Indicator, you could get program 'X', which includes both omaha and holdem indicator together. It was almost as if Omaha indicator works on holdem tables or some such thing. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Doubt it, but you'd have to list resolution of the screen.

Bovada limits you to 4 tables as part of their "casual players only" mantra.

You could do 4 cash with 2 mtt to have 6 games going at once.

Download this program called table tamer, it'll resize them automatically (input the table dimensions you want in their settings) so they don't overlap.

Not for MTTs. Not sure if they have a max or not, but I never reach it if they do. I only play about 12 tables at most though.
