I will check it out thanks for the tip. I am a tournament player mostly, aware of the cash game limits

Assuming the software works similarly on a Mac as it does on Windows, you should have no problem at all tiling 6 tables at that resolution. The minimum resolution of a table in Windows is about 630x500. You can six-tile on 1920x1080 without overlap.

Whether or not you'll be able to read the information you need to, though, I have no idea.

They shouldnt, you are correct.

The truth is that there are reasons to play on Bovada as an American player. You may really like their model for example, the anonymous tables perhaps, or the games themselves. But there is really no arguing that the rake isnt just brutal for all players compared to industry standards.

Am I right in assuming you guys are just talking about the cash game rakes? Tournament rakes seem pretty standard, as far as I can tell -- about 10% on standards at low stakes, ~8% on turbos, 6% on super/hypers, and 5% on DoNs.

Considering rakeback is generally 20-50%, if the rake at Bovada was the same as other sites, we'd already be paying 20-50% more than all the sites with rakeback, that's the elusive point people tend to miss.

I've only been back on Bovada for a bit over a week now, so I have an 11k hands sample. But over that sample I paid $730 in rake. At stars over that same sample I payed $420, and received 38% rb or whatev on top.

Yeah that really is a joke, and they can't use the "we cater to recreational players" excuse for that. Lower rake would benefit recreational players just the same as regulars.

the past few days, i've been unable to connect to certain tables in the lobby. I play 1/2 an 2/4 nlhe, and there are about 3 different tables that, when I open them, never connect. They just time out and say sorry couldn't establish connection.

Right now its Clemente, Charismatic(something liek that), and one other. Even shutting down and restarting doesn't help. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: Everything else is functioning as normal

Yea I'm getting a few at 50nl that won't connect when open them. It's just an empty table. Never happened to me before.

Take all this bs to ACR nits. I'll take my winrate at Bovada and 4 day checks ftw.

I can't figure out why anyone would ever defend a site for charging an exorbitant amount of rake. What is your argument? Obviously anyone who plays on Bovada, like everyone in this thread, decided that "They'd take their winrate and 4 day checks." The only thing your post does is attempt to insult people, and then state something redundant.

You're more than welcome to play elsewhere nit. Their rake structure and lack of kickbacks means less seats occupied by drooling nits like you waiting for setup hands grinding rakeback. If it's not for you then leave the site and then leave the country.

Why would they listen to you? Two weeks ago you never even heard of the wire act. You are a noob that apparently won a few dollars on Bovada this month. Congrats, but no one gives a ****. You have made more ignorant posts and said more stupid **** in ten days than Malefiicus and rakeme have posted in eight years.

Every time you post I feel compelled to tell you to hush because grownups are talking like I would a five year old.

I said I wasnt going to help correct you anymore, but Ill be nice and make one last exception. Just quit posting now and at least the ones that havent read your posts yet wont know you are a dim witted douchebag.

You're a troll. I play 24/18. I haven't argued for rakeback, I've just made it apparent that rakeback is effectively less rake, which is an argument for less rake, which isn't a "kickback." I have left the country for poker, but ended up preferring to make a bit less playing on Bovada and living in America with my friends, than stay in a condo on the beach in Mexico. I actually just got back 2 weeks ago. Once again, I've already outlined what should obviously be apparent by my being in this thread and noting that I play on Bovada. Obviously I think it's the best option for me. But that doesn't mean it's perfect, or that less rake is a bad thing, or that I have to agree with their rake structure.

So next time you respond, in order to be less of a douchebag, elucidate your point for me. It seems like the point you're trying to make can be summed up as "Less rake is bad." You can just say that, and leave out the bull****.

You don't even exist lol. I cashed out 61k from Bovada in 2013 (my 2nd year of play) strictly playing nl/plo cash which doesn't make me Sam Tricket lol but makes me more relevant than a guy who plays DN sng's lmao. You're a pretender and you get mad because I know it. =) You might be older than me which isn't hard but you have accomplished nothing in this game obviously which makes your years in this game along with your thoughts irrelevant. You don't have the answers Sway.

And Malfeces..I made it very clear that the structure on Bovada is less friendly to rakeback grinding nits which makes the games better. Compare the avg pot sizes on ACR to Bovada and get back to me. How hard is it for you to understand that there is more money to be made from loose games with higher rake than nit infested games with lower rake? But once again feel free to play elsewhere.

Oh, you mean the exchange you started by calling them nits? But I wasn't just referring to the recent posts, but your entire body of work. It seems like the majority of your 43 posts contain a derogatory comment about someone. Like I said, enough already.

That might have been me. If you just buy the license for one of them (Holdem or Omaha), the HUD will work for both games, but only the version you bought will have the pot-odds and hand equity tool that attaches to the table. If I had it to do over again I'd have bought the Omaha license instead of Holdem, because I feel that tool would be far more useful for PLO.

On multiple occassions I have had SNGs, that when they start, open with a completely empty table.

Wow didn't know that the micro rake was that high. I thought it was just because of more players seeing the flop.
