I didn't play much this week, got a tier 1 prize of a $5k freeroll ticket. HAH to all you suckers who grinded all week hoping for something worth $7.70 and got stuck with the same thing I got for playing about 2 hours.

Um I assume people are also winning money when they play.

I too am Tier 2(prob like 400 points or something) and 7.70. Although I am not sure why people think the actual number of points they earned matters. If it mattered, they would create more tiers.

The reson for matching points with the prize is to determine if, internally, Bovada is using tiers or if it is truely a mystery (random).

If everybody here with 300-400 points started saying they got a $20 cash bonus, and everybody with less, got the $7.70 ticket, a conclusion could be drawn.

Bovada's new Mystery Bonus promotion is essentially a scam. The purpose of this bonus is to create the appearance of a chance to win something big, when in actuality, the average bonus for a tier 2 player is valued at about $10. I think I racked up about 400 points and received a freeroll ticket valued at probably $7. This is obviously different than the $40-$50 bonuses we had been receiving weekly in the past. In my opinion this is pretty pathetic. They tried to do something that Kohl's department store did which is to have you scratch off a card where you get 10%, 20% or 30% off; it would appear that you had a good chance of getting 20 or 30, but in actuality, 90% of people got 10%. Same concept here and pretty damn shady / obnoxious.
