When you disconnect it kicks you off the cash tables and won't let you sit back down for 5 minutes
No deposit bonuses or decent promotions ever
They charge you $50 for withdrawals beyond the first
Tables are anonymous opening the door to collusion and house bots and you would never know it (plus you can't brag when you make a big score)
Can't use HUDs that work beyond 1 tournament session
Support is clueless
The sportsbook lays the worst odds on the internet
There is a bug where even if you haven't acted on a hand yet if someone goes all in with less than a full raise you can only call, and when it was brought to their attention support said that the ruling is correct
They publicly admit they don't like poker players and won't cater to them in any way.

Other than all this they are a great company with awesome software!
And even with all of this, it's still probably the most profitable U.S. site to play on because of soft games/quick cashouts.

I can remember when we had the old software and the old support guy (can't remember his name for the life of me) said that with the new software the bugs will be easily fixed. It's not the support guy's fault, but that was the biggest crock of **** ever.

Yeah, Bodog was pretty good at feeding him lines of BS, and because he was the site rep it was his job to relay those here. There's a reason why he quit.

These are my biggest sticking points, especially the last one. I have money in these sites for fun/entertainment and I decided to give Bovada a year long trial because I thought it'd be fun to have a poker component to my sports betting roll. The book's odds are just so bad (5% worse than everywhere else) that I'll be moving on before football starts.

Yeah they make it pretty hard to make any money. For example They had Mayweather at -900 when everyone else had him at -600, Jon Jones at -1100, everywhere else -750. You can actually use them if you plan on betting underdogs but that is about it. Also forgot to mention they change the odds based on your betting history, and sometimes if you select a bet and then log in they move the odds to make them worse for you before you can take the bet.

Funny you mention this. I thought I noticed some of this going on, but wasn't quite sure. I've got a project going where I'm betting against the Astros every game this season. Obviously the odds are going to be bad pretty much all the time but I wonder how bad it's going to get if they really are making the lines worse based on history.

I was thinking about this as well. If they aren't making as much off you if you're signed up under an affiliate, wonder if there's a chance they won't include you in some promos they otherwise would.

I bet $10 on the Astros to win the World Series getting 2000:1.

I remembered, JustinR. or something very close to that. He also had another account like Jurollo.

I will give you 10K:1 if you care to wager another $10.

bodogs odds are trash
I've made 216 baseball bets this year- 8 have been on bodog and 208 have been on 5dimes

The raining money animation really is awesome
Next time I'm in Vegas I want to have a friend behind me waiting for me to stack someone I don't like and when i do have him make it rain all over the table

I dont think so Ant, maybe some affiliates might offer a freeroll or something?

I havent seen even that though tbh.

You can check a few RB sites just in case though.

Funny that they can program this animation in (and the new ACES CRACKED animation...I just cracked aces and saw it-it is fun but unnecessary), but they cannot make that check/fold button useful for locking in your actions before it is your turn.

And the 10-second-long disconnections are so very strange and common...

Any of you noticed TOO MUCH bonus cash deposited to your account this week, Tuesday and Wednesday? I previously signed up for the Vegas Vacation promo which gets you $50 max per week, and I have one other small promo I was expecting money for...$10 to $30 dollars max. But after I got my $50 for last week, and before I played much at all this week to earn more, I received well over $150 in bonus cash in my poker account. I am happy but cannot make sense of it.

I have decided the $0.50 and $1 and $2 cash tables are softer than the $0.05 and $0.10. Too much proof, too many hours and tables...I guess the sports betting/gambling types have extra cash to spew chasing miracle cards on the mid-limit tables, and all the serious young players with small BR are fighting each other on the low-limit tables!

wouldn't shock me that the biggest sports betting whales are playing much higher than the micro stakes games

The only annoying thing are the short stackers, but I doubt we will ever see deep stack tables on Bovada in the future.

Short stackers are such bastards. On the plus side, I would guess that only 1/5 of them are any good at executing a proper short stack strategy. The rest are just miserable.

Short stackers drive the action. The worst Bovada tables are the ones with 6 100BB stacks.

The best ones are 4 80bb stacks and 1 ss. Then you automatically know there's no possibility of regs at the table.
