Has anybody tried to withdrawal from Bovada? I recently made my first withdrawal 2 days ago and since then I cannot win a f'in thing lol. I don't believe in the button of death theory, when you withdrawal you immediately start losing at least on full tilt and poker stars this wasn't the case. But since i made my first withdrawal on Bovada I can't win anything legitimate and in the big tournies I get bounced out in ridiculous ways. also in cash I keep 3 betting with big pairs, flop looks great then someone has hit a set..countless times in 2 days.

If anyone else has had the same issues, how long does this last for? I may take a break and then play again in a couple of days.

Thanks

they usually doomswitch your account for up to 14 days, depending on how much you won and how quickly you withdrew after first depositing, their rep posted the algorithm once by mistake.

You must have missed the rest of that thread. If you call customer support they can reduce that time to 8 days.

You jokesters are funny.

However, I must say...I had much greater success growing my BR before I withdrew. After withdrawing, I started losing often (mid-to-late in MTT tournaments) with hands like QQ to 6-10 and K-6 nutjobs who were trying to steal the pot by going all in preflop.

But it must just be variance, not Bovada Kahnawake Indian evil programming.

The Bodogavada programmers can't get simple **** like how the buttons work and when to posts blinds correct, there's no way in hell they have enough talent to rig a deck.

This site outage last week really must have cost Bovada serious $$. I think I didnt lose anything from it, but they put two $22 free tickets in my account anyway. Then a bunch of people used them to overrun some $22 tournies the next day, and the prize pools swelled to include every dollar of those $22 tickets. I made $400 off my first free ticket.
That same night, I used my $5 ticket from winning a $1 cheap seat thing and won a ticket to the $35 satty; won the $35 satty, and ended up in the $500 Main Event qualifier for a $1 investment.
I guess Bovada doesnt have it in for me anymore, or my bad variance ended after some excruciating months. Or they love that I used that WalMart Visa prepaid Debit card I wrote about in an earlier post.
Or I have trained myself to just be better than every other player on the face of the Earth.

Yeehaw.

How can you even argue my point? Information is knowledge. There is no magic secret. If I play with all those tools and 40k hands on an opponent with no tools you crush him.

I played with tools and had one of the highest win rates at my limit.

If you have everyone's information and how they play you win a hell of a lot more than when you don't.

And I'm 93 and 1/2.

Im just saying you sound like an old person bitching about cellphones or something. If it was as easy as you say, "If I play with all those tools and 40k hands on an opponent with no tools you crush him" then you wouldnt be here bitching about HUDs you would be busy printing money using your HUD.

You call customer support and indicate you want to use this method. They give you a receiver's name. You then go into a WU location (can be found at nearly every grocery store and gas station now) and fill out a 'send money' form which has basic items like your name, receiver's name & location. The WU location will give you a number. You go home, call up customer support, and give them this number. Assuming there are no issues, they will put the money into your account in about 20 minutes. I have a WU location about a half mile from my house, so the entire process was quick and easy.

A tip for WU deposits. If you are given a receiver name that includes a middle name, you must put it AFTER the FIRST name on the western union form.

Its because its cheating. Its gone too far with all this software.

Anyways I make more money in live play than online. And on Bovada I make more money on less tables than on Merge. So why go where the tough opponents are.

I used to 6 table FR @ 5bb/100. Now I play the 4 tables on Bovada and I make 8-10bb/100. The 8 when I am not paying attention, fat finger a bet. I've accidentally shoved all in instead of betting a couple times.

Did I say 93 and a 1/2? I meant 39 and a 1/2... wait... man I don't remember my age. I think my wife says I act like a 18 year old.... wait or is that my sexual drive that's 18?! Really I am old enough to realize I will never be wise enough.

I have never used a HUD and have consistently been close to a 1BB/100 winner in my games over nearly 1mm hands (2/4-15/30 FL, mostly on Merge). Would I be winning more if I used a HUD well? Sure. Why don't I use one? Laziness. (and aesthetics - HUDs are ugly!)

Its fine to not like HUDs. But to call me a cheater for using something that is perfectly legal and acceptable by the rules of the game is way out of line.

I take following the rules of the game very seriously and despise cheating.

Because you dont like something doesnt make it cheating.

The rules of the game define what is and isnt cheating not yours or my opinion.

So I just tried to make my first deposit using WU and my Debit card, over the phone as the rep instructed (online transfers will be denied). WU denied the transfer and asked that I attempt to try again at an agent location. For my inconvenience they're giving me a 50% discount on the transfer ($5).

Will it matter if I bring cash or use my Debit card to do the transfer in person?

That depends on where you do the transfer. If you want to use a debit card, then probably a large chain grocery store that has WU & takes debit cards. You could always call ahead and ask. It just depends on how new there system is.

And if u are given 3 names, make damn sure that the agent enters all 3 names in order. Has to be exactly as given to you or it wont work.
