Requested 550 Bitcoin on Ignition Poker on Sat 9/17 @ 7am. I was quoted 24-48 hours. It is now Tuesday 9/20 at 4:17 am. I am being told it is being processed but they can't give me a time or update. I recently did a transaction a week ago that took about a week to actually get my bitcoins because they needed some documents. I never once had a problem with Bovada and am extremely disappointed about the switch.

Some may find this useful. From circle's website:

"For amounts below $3,000, Circle may charge zero spread on your conversion, which means that you will be quoted the mid-market rate. For amounts larger than $3,000, Circle may add a spread on your conversion, which could result in a higher buy price or a lower sell price than you would have seen for smaller amounts. This threshold is subject to change; in other words, you might see a spread on conversions as low as $1,500 depending on the current market for buying/selling.

The price will be quoted to you before you complete the transaction.

Circle does not charge any fees on top of this price. The price quoted at the time of the conversion will be the price that you receive."

Also, the above mentions "The price will be quoted to you before you complete the transaction". I think this is only true if you have your default currency as BTC not USD.

You would have encountered slower withdraw times occasionally on Bovada eventually as well FWIW. If every single one of your previous withdraws came in the 24-48 estimated time frame you were running good.

Getting "there seems to be a problem with your internet connection. Please make sure you're connected to the internet, then restart the application."

How to fix?

I think you're spot on. By not playing you are good.

I got away with playing just outside what I withdrew but dipped into my withdrawal balance by a dollar once. Even thou they "reviewed" the deposit 40 hours later they said i had insufficient funds.

So as soon as you cash out that money is monitored until the official dispersement. Even if it's days later.

I am really thankful for the community and this forum. This is my very first post. One of the reasons I'm coming here is to find some assistance on this whole bitcoin set up for withdrawals off ignition/bovada. I realize there is a whole thread of post and reading through it confuses me even more. As a Virgin to this whole bitcoin process. Can someone please tell me as a 5 year old, how do I withdraw from site to bitcoin to bank? If I am not wrong, I've seen coinbase mentioned here a lot. I have tried to open an account with them as the first step. A week now and I haven't received the "two small amounts" showing in my bank account to complete the registration? Any idea why? I am trying to create this step as Im under the impression it is the first thing I need to do for bitcoin transaction? I just wrote to bitcoin to inform them a week in and havent seen the amounts.

Assuming they come back and I provide me the info and I am able to finish setting up this account, what do I do next----to get money in the bank.

Lastly, should there be any concerns when these types of deposits go into your bank? Any flags or questions by the bank? How about their foreign bank checks? Just thinking out loud, but will there be concerns when these types of transactions are made in the bank regularly?

I appreciate whoever will reply. Your answers will truly help someone who is just confused right now.

Go to Bitpay.com and purchase a bitpay debit card for $10. This is a card you can use to transfer bitcoin to which allows you to convert it to cash immediately or use for withdrawal from atm.

Go to Xcoins.io and open an account. There you can purchase bitcoin with a debit card or paypal...They give you a bitcoin wallet address where you can use it to withdraw from and send to bovada after you purchase said bitcoin...

Create also a Copay.com account...this is where you can have another wallet to transfer all your winnings from bovada to...You can only transfer bitcoin from bovada to a address once...so thats why you cannot use xcoins wallet to stash your winnings...bovads will only allow you to send it there one time....they want you to create unique addresses...Xcoins gives you a permanent one

I would go with circle instead of coinbase since circle has no fees. However coinbase works just fine once you have it set up. Coinbase fees are ~ 1%.

I guess it really depends on the bank. I've not had any issues sending from coinbase and circle to my bank. Have not had any problems with foreign checks either.

People here have had checks bounce and have had them scrutinized by the teller. I think those things happen fairly infrequently.

Once again getting the problem with internet connection error. I've fixed it before but it's extremely annoying to keep having to deal with it.

60ish hours out from cashout request and so far I've only received the email saying it will be processed within 48 hours. I just play poker and this is a 5 figure cashout after a good tournament score. I assume they're stalling because they want me to bet the sports (which I never do). A player from my local college team is placed in the banner ads asking me to bet on sports. I'm guessing that may be based on my ip address.

I've been getting the problem almost daily for weeks. Its a strange bug as i can start the software up sometimes fine then others it takes 3-4 restarts. Once in awhile its wont start after multiple restarts and ill come on here and posts or read if anyone is having problems. It seems to just fix itself after a hour in those cases. Cheap software

To answer your question "Lastly, should there be any concerns when these types of deposits go into your bank? Any flags or questions by the bank?" You shouldn't get any issues from your bank since it is coming from a financial institution. Here is how my withdrawl from Circle looked in my account:Checkcard #### Circle Internet Financing. No red flags whatsoever.
