Or you just say I work online and this is the method in which I was paid. "what do you do?" No one asks that. If they do, then say you work online in an adult business. I've never had to say this but it seems to have worked for others. Don't lie. But that doesn't mean you have to be specific with what you do.

Requested payout May 14th
Approved May 14th

Was quoted 20 business days. When that came and passed I called and was quoted 25 business days and the 20 days was a mistake. When that came and passed I called and was told they were changing payment processors and it should be "soon" when I receive tracking info. I was going to call today but when I got home from work there was a DHL "sorry we missed you" note on door. I called DHL to see if they could contact truck to re-deliver because according to the slip I only missed him by 10 minutes. They had no way of contacting the driver and said I had to wait until Monday for 2nd attempt.

This is the first time I have made a withdrawal since the change from Bodog to Bovada. I stopped playing there long ago because I liked Pokerstars better. When they rebranded I figured I'd give it another go. In fact, It's been 6 years since my last withdrawal. I've never been worried about not getting paid. I've always been paid quickly in the past but those were the old days when we were allowed to use neteller (I miss them). I am, however, a little bit worried about cashing the check. For the past few hours I have been browsing thru the 400+ pages on this forum topic. My banking situation is this... I recently moved from NV to PA and bank with a credit union. I did not change banks for a few reasons. 1..I may move back to NV in the near future. 2.. Credit unions have shared banking which means I can use basically any credit union to make dep/wd from. 3.. I like my credit union in NV. Will this affect me in making my deposits? My withdrawal request was for $9983.00 so I am expecting 4 checks total. The ATM at the branches around here don't scan. You have to put in an envelope with deposit slip so a human is still processing just not with me standing in front of her/him. Does this make a difference? I assume Bovada thinks the ATM scans the checks but I'm not sure. I don't want to raise any red flags and would rather just cash the checks. I read a few posts about 100 pages back that used walmart to cash...ugh... does this work? Can they verify funds on the spot to cash? Has anyone tried this successfully?

Sorry for rambling on, but reading through a lot of these posts has made me a tad nervous.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

My payout was approved 5-15. I left DHL a note on my door today because I knew otherwise it wouldnt be until Monday and they left it for me. As for trying to cash at walmart.....walmart or any currency exchange/check cashing outlet will refuse this as they cant verify funds immediately....my friend tried to cash at a local currency exchange and was denied. You must only deposit it into your ATM or with a teller in a bank account under your name. You are asking for problems if you try otherwise. As for the ATM not scanning, that happens to some people dont worry...(even depositing in ATM, a human still looks at and processes the check...there is just no worry of some idiot saying online gambling to the bank teller)
Best of luck

Why say anything? I have deposited a bunch of these checks at several diff banks and not once have they said anything. I mean who cares where smoeone is getting a $3k check from? And if they ask - just say "an online business' 3 words with no further elaboration how hard is that?

They encourage people to use ATMs because many people are idiots and might blab to a teller.

Obviously he meant only say something if asked.

Update:
Approved 5/15/12
Received 6/28 from up North
Tried to deposit into an ATM on 6/30, but the check wouldn't scan. I went to the drive thru, but the drive-thru teller told me I had to go into the branch. She claimed it was standard for foreign checks (Although I had deposited a similar check 2 weeks before through the drive thru). The teller in the branch took care of the check in 2 minutes. She asked what I did for the company, I said 'consulting', and that was that. I am supposed to have the funds by Tuesday. Moral of the story: Don't panic about a check not scanning or a teller asking you harmless questions. The VAST majority of the time, everything is fine in the end and the check goes through.

It's been posted numerous times on here but in case you guys didnt know. If the check is from different country it doesnt clear when you deposit it or the next day. Your bank makes the funds available to you sometimes weeks before the check actually clears.

On to more pressing matters..

I noticed Stewie decided to "man up" and go into hiding. Not surprising considering he knows better than anyone that loose lips are worth two in the bush.

What is the best way to cash out? Check, money transfer or rapid transfer?

What do you want me to say?

I'm too busy on the weekend. I don't have time to make fun of you for the entertainment of the forum.

Withdrawal issues are very serious, and I don't want to turn this into an entertainment thread where I just rip on you and a bunch of pointdexters./
