Im not sure why people always have to post where the checks are coming from. What good could this do?

It does a lot more good than this post of yours.

... It's just good, complete information about what's going on currently.

Definitely agree with this. If there is a significant development regarding this check after it is deposited I can understand including the origin but it makes no sense otherwise.

Not true.

Should keep it to a simple up north or far east.

Theres a reason complete information could be a hindrance to whats going on currently.

Think about it.

I'm sorry, I just assumed a person who has thousands intrusted with a company would like to know a little about them. Plus I was answering a post about the connection between the two entities, and since I knew the answer I figured I would share it because it was apparent by many of the posts most of you don't know. My fault for assuming people who have money on the site would care about the connection between its owners and its regulator, sorry to interrupt.

True. I'm with you there. I didn't notice anybody getting more specific than that. My apologies.

No reason to give any information about the origin. While Far East might be somewhat vague saying up north is no different than saying Canada because Santa Claus isn't processing payouts.

Just curious:

Why would anybody request a wire payout when it apparently takes the same amount of time (and you have to pay a fee)?

I just requested my first payout this evening, and it's for the full amount of my account. Anyone have any experience doing this?

Also, how long is it taking these days between payout requests and payout approvals? I can read through the boards and see how long it's taking to get checks, but just wondering how long everyone is waiting until their payouts are receiving approval.

Good luck. Most of us have been waiting 6+ weeks for our checks. Approval however is just a matter of hours, sometimes minutes.

The main reason to not use specific countries or cities is so it can't be found by a google search.

Wire never came. Faxed in my bank statements and a few weeks later they cut me a $5k check instead of resending the wire. i guess they are having probs with the wire.

They do only do $3k checks. This must be a one time thing because I was waiting on a $5k wire for >6 weeks.

Getting better folks!

Significant sized check approved on 5/18 has been logged into DHL and will be coming from far east. Though Bovada has not yet given me the tracking number. I called DHL myself.

As an accountant that specializes in investigating financial crimes, I can safely say that if the government is monitoring this site, they already know where these checks are coming from. It's not too difficult to piece everything together, so I wouldn't sweat those posts too hard.

FYI:

Approved for >$3,000 on 4/30. I received the first $3,000 last week (no problems) via DHL. I received a tracking # from the "other" delivery service for the remaining balance, and they said the check should arrive tomorrow. The first check came from the right --> left, and this check is coming up --> down.

Trying to be discrete with the origins, since other players requested so.

The being said there is literally zero reason to post specific bank names or exactly where the $ is coming from in this thread.

It's more of a precautionary measure to PREVENT the government from looking into things. Let's not post bank names and exact locations that could come up on a diligent search by the government.

Obviously you did have some sort of bonus. And, no. They are not taking money from you. They simply said they have to hold the other $136 as that portion is not eligible to be withdrawn yet. Pretty common practice.

ok well I'm confused because I have a lot more than $1435 in my account....And by the way it's not $136, it's $235.50.

edit:not trying to be a dick, i'm just really pissed I can't cash out what I want and I also don't know what bonus I have active...

Just call and ask where you got the bonus from. No need to be pissed. Again, they are not "taking" the money from you. They simply cannot release the small portion of $235.50 as it is still tied to a bonus.
