After going a month without having any payment options available to me (actually said that in cashier) I was approved for a money transfer withdrawal. It has a $150 fee for a $2000 (maximum allowed) withdrawal which definitely sucks. Anyone have any experience with this method?

I was a bit confused because it is only called "Money Transfer" in my cashier and in my email confirmations. The name "Western Union" is nowhere in this so I thought it might be something different. I did not see anywhere in this thread where someone called it just "Money Transfer" but I now see that someone has the same $150 fee so it is apparently the same thing. I have never used any money transfer service like this before so forgive my ignorance on that.
It is responses like yours though that im sure stop many people who have a lot to offer from contributing more to 2+2 as a whole.

well afaik you have to deposit using "money transfer" before you can withdrawal, so you prolly should know what it actually is, no?

Your Money Transfer payout has been successfully completed. Please record the following information which you will need to provide in order to pick up your transfer:

Sender's Name: XXX
Sender's Location: XXX
Control Code: XXX
Amount: US$ 928.00

Overall i'm happy with this. But am chatting with bodog about why they processed $1008.00 rather than just the $1000.00 i requested.

Seems they made a mistake, now i have no amount to play with. I planed on keeping the small $8.00 amount there. Hoping they refund my bankroll the $8.00 but we'll see.

hmm usually they process the exact amount, don't think i've ever had them change it on me
wait.. if you requested 1k, and had 1008 in your account, you have to take the fee out

i know its strange. i'm waiting for them to contact me by phone in the next 24hrs, so we can talk about it. but they mentioned since i deposited the 1K via UMW that they had to process the entire amount i deposited from UMW.

now, i have records of the amount i deposited via UMV and it's exactly 1K. so i'm hoping they recognize their error and refund me my small amount of $8.00. it's not a big deal and i'm not going to fuss about it. i'm just curious to the details.

It's an $80 fee to withdraw 500-1k. So they processed the maximum they could less the fee. ($1008-$80=$928)

yep, so he should've requested $920, if he wanted to leave 8 bucks in.

Maybe he didn't know about the fee?

Ok i'm slowly understanding this now. I was unaware Bodog took the ($80) fee first. I was hoping they took the fee from the $1000 request, therefor sending me a payment of $920. I guess this was my mess up not Bodogs. Is their details of this process anywhere in the T&C?

Thank you Klinker for the breakdown. A $920.00 request - $80.00 fee would have left me my $8.00 i was wanting to be left behind.

They debit your ecash account for the amount you request + the fee. For example, I request $1000 and the fee is $50 to process, they take a total of $1050 from my account.

Anyone receive a check from bodog that was from an overseas bank in Asia? I got my check, but there doesn't seem like any place on the back to endorse the check so I'm not sure if I should sign it or just deposit through atm as is. Anyone get a check like this? I'm from the US.

i know, i understand now. i didn't have $1080 in my account. so they had to dip into my remaining balance, then take the rest out of my processed amount. leaving me with a poker room balance of $0, very much appreciate the help, thanks.

Yes, I got one last week from DHL. Deposit in your bank account or you can take it to the US bank they state to take it to (will be about a 30 min wait if you go here, they have to fax things plus $6 fee).

I got a letter saying to deposit it only. Just wanted to know if you signed the check or not. I don't see any line on the back of the check to sign.

thanks. I never got a check from overseas like this and it looks kinda weird so I just don't want any issues when I go deposit it. I'll go ahead and sign the back then.

Really, you were going to rebuild your bankroll with $8?

No, I deposited with UseMyWallet about 3 weeks before they went down. It then took about two weeks for them to accept that UseMyWallet was no longer accepting US withdrawals. I then contacted them several times through email and phone only to have them say they were working on getting me a withdrawal method. Then I waited awhile before calling them again and they finally added this money transfer option. I am from NY so I guess that is a big issue.
