Wasn't really clear.. The way they put it meant in their estimation I was making an income off of poker, which I assumed referred to amount/regularity of cashouts. I'll look into the business account as well.

Will update when funds are available in account. First time trying this method.
I've never used Fast Funds and have no idea how it works. I requested a payout by Check, but they sent me an email stating that I would be having Fast funds credited to the card I deposited with. The card I deposited with was a debit card. Is this okay for fast funds?

I've emailed them back, but their reply made no sense to me.

Yes, the withdrawal amount will be credited back to the debit card that you used to deposit.

It also works with a credit card (if that was used to deposit), but will not work with a prepaid or gift card.

The funds should take 5-7 business days, before they are available on the card. I will update ITT when the funds are available.

Just to verify. So my bank card that I used to deposit will have the funds on it, but those funds will not be in my actual bank account?

Or will the funds also be available in my bank account?

The funds should be credited back to the bank card/bank account that you used to deposit. As long as it's a debit/credit card and not a prepaid/gift card.

Hey guys,

I currently reside in a state that Bovada has limited the payout options to only Visa Fast Funds. I talked to customer service and they said that I would have to show proof of address in another state and then the wire option would still be subject to approval. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

Used the fast funds option for the first time.
Requested on Feb. 26th
Approved on the 27th
Funds arrived March 5th
definitely my first choice as long as it is offered.

Does it normally take the full 48 hours to approve a large payout (would require multiple wire transfers)? I've done plenty of them in the past in the 3000 - 6000 range, and smaller checks, and the actual approval time is usually just a few hours.

Check requested 2/26
Approved 2/26
Tracking # provided 3/3
Check arrived 3/5

I went into my local bank to cash it. As I'm finishing filling out the deposit slip, the bank manager (who is ALWAYS out front trying to be super helpful) asks me if she can help me, and I tell her I'm just here to deposit this check. She offers to walk over to the ATM with me and show me how to deposit it there, and I tell her that won't work because the check is from up north. She says "Up north?" quizzically. I suddenly remember I'm not talking with someone from 2+2 and clarify that it's from Canada. She gives me a knowing "Oh," and leaves me to my business. Teller asked no questions (have yet to be asked so far).

How do taxes work on payouts? Is the IRS alerted or do you have to claim it yourself?

Received on 3/6/15. Very easy process with no headaches. Highly recommend, if you have this option.

Wire requested 3/4, approved 3/5, and CANCELLED with no explanation 3/6. When I call to ask for explanation they said my name could be associated with online gaming so they are no longer willing to send me bank wires

I am not a famous poker player.

I haven't reported cashouts here in a while but I just wanted to write a brief caution regarding the bank wire cashouts.

I've done this twice now, in the amounts of $6000 and $2000, and both times Bovada sent me an email informing me of the amount of Euro's it will be sent, per usual.

Upon the first cashout received, I thought the number seemed to be about $120 below the correct conversion. I checked all of the EUR-USD conversion rates for the day it processed and each day after until I received it, and even at it's lowest value I was still shorted approx. $120, and at it's highest $170~.

I called Bovada and they said they had no knowledge of which conversion rate they used because that information is done and converted via their 3rd party processor.

I just received my 2nd wire transfer, and was shorted $37 on 2k which is 1.85%, which is rather close to the $120-$170 taken from 6k. Please note that the bank does take an additional $15 from the amount received (not included).

Just letting you know that I think Bovada or their processor is taking a percentage without any notice or explanation of fee, because the conversion rates do not add up (even at the lowest).

I just opened my Bovada account last week, so I'm pretty ignorant.

Why is Euro conversion rates and issue at all?????

I realise the site is not operated in the U.S., but they only accept U.S. players, I assume all deposits are USD. I find it confusing that cashout are effected by EURO-USD rate at all. Is this common?

The direct wire cashouts use EURO for some reason. I don't know why, but it is very clear that they are not transparent about missing funds. They claimed total ignorance when I inquired.

I didn't know much about currency rate but I guess there is not one exact place you can look it up each day but rather a bunch of sources that estimate the value, and like i said before, even the lowest evaluation of the Euro was way off on my amount received.

every wire i've got has been -1.8% to 3.51% in fees on the conversion. Avg of 1.55% over a decent sample.
