Isn't it the other way around?

From what I've been reading:

Rapid Transfer = MG

Money Transfer = WU

Can you clarify? Now I'm confused lol

1) New WU deposit limits are $475?

2) Any way to raise this? Not that long ago one could deposit $1900 via MyPay....

3) What happened to MyPay? When was it removed?

4) Basically, what I need to know is what is the best way to deposit larger sums of money?

MyPay has been gone forever.

Call them about raising your limits. I'm not sure why your WU limit is so low when I've never had them increase mine and I can deposit up to $5k each time.

has anyone requested an withdrawal using Western Union after depositing with a CC? If so did you have to call them for some reason? Thanks!

I have only deposited with cc and since getting 3 bad checks I use WU for right now.

After requesting it I was not advised to call them, however anytime I have emailed them asking questions regarding my WU payout requests, it always says they cant discuss it in email and that I have to call them.

I just got a check like 5 days after requesting it. It came from up north. The check wouldn't get recognized at my atm (I tried 3 times). I had to deposit it with a teller.

Yes, a ton of people. There's not much to say about it. You get the cash in a matter of days. It's more expensive than check. Also, some people do get banned from using it by WU if you keep receiving massive amounts of cash from foreign lands.

I received my tracking number on 12/23 and still has not shown up in F.E. system. Anybody else have this issue or should I call them to see if there is a prob?

I haven't had any recent withdrawals but seem to remember some checks arriving before the tracking number was given to me by Bovada.

UPDATE: I received a check from up north back in November 2012 when a lot of people were having issues with their checks returning. As stated above, my bank sent my check through collections and I receive the funds today. The checks was only for $500 but I only received $440 because of fees. Disappointed about how much I received but happy it didn't get returned.

Requested a money transfer today after only depositing using a CC. The funds and the fee has been withdrawn from my account so I think it will work out. I will update after I receive details and I receive the funds. Bettypotz, thanks for the information regarding the new rules on money transfer.

Bettypotz, I received a message in my Bovada account stating payout email was sent. Would they send an email to my personal email with pick info or will they sent to my Bovada account? Thanks.

I believe it resets on the first day of the month but if you decide to cashout a few days before 01/05 I'd call/email them just to confirm.

Requested and approved on 12/3

Received check from small island nation on 12/26

Deposited and money available the next day on the largest retail bank in the US, but I'll wait at least 2 months before I consider the check to clear.
