A lot of stuff that passed for 'normal' in the 2005 - 2010 boom years seems legitimately insane by today's standards.

One should always due their due diligence to avoid being scammed by the likes of OP, however, I do not think we should blame the victim.

Can confirm this is true coming from someone who did this, literally stole from others, and had to make it right, it took a long time too, but I'm sure they're happier than not getting paid back, and I am also. If I had been banned, it's hard to say if everyone would be paid back by now, it would certainly have been tougher.

OP shouldn't post though, I didn't post on here for years while in the process of paying people back, I felt it was like "rubbing their face in it", so OP, don't post, just PM with the people you owe till you're paid back, then post.

I don't know if it has been suggested, but a payment plan would be much more valuable than you disappearing from the forums.

Do you have 10 dollars on any poker site or account? Do you have 100? If you make a good faith effort to get him something - even a little bit - ASAP it will be a massive demonstration of good will and intent to pay. If you just disappear for another 5 years after being shamed from the forums, it is going to make most people just presume you will never pay them back.

yes I agree I had some people owe for years and was real sincere but after 2 years and def after 5 im serious about the will thing, I mean I had the signed ious and yes I could take them to court which I never would only low 4 figures but still if they keep telling you they would pay make sure they include you in the will because they can bs you for years and admit the debt but the will is priceless. Plus yes you think of outing them or threat but any I loan 4 figs or more has to be a good degen friend of mine or has made me a lot of money so violence or threats is out of ?. Save all that for total scammers nothing more funny then showing up to some pos you barely know after they told you to f off and knock on there door , amazing the fear in there eyes when you say pay me esp after they said screw him ill break him in half .
