its nice that alot of business men are joining the tournament so that its still +EV for the good pros to play it.

To be honest i dont think Mercier is gonna play, he seems to be running really badly lately. Also i dont see JRB playing, though i would really want to see him.

My money's on Trickett btw.

mercier said he has put down the 50k deposit and plans on playing (tweeted he is selling action for 1.1, 1%=11k) my money goes to katchalov if he plays it. gotta think helmuth has a good chance though considering his strength is getting money from weak players.. seems like there are going to be lot of weak players there too.

If ZeeJustin sells his action he'd do pretty damn well.

Negreanu always seems to do well in the Super High-Rollers as well.

"The Finnish pro expressed some reservations though about the $1 million dollar buy-in tournament.

“Investors need to solve the tax issues with the One-Drop."

bonomo now tweeting that he doesn't think he will raise money for his seat by the deadline. potentially one open spot.

jrb, perhaps someone already registered is having jrb play for them?

I somehow get the idea that Guy is buying about 2/3 of the field in.

I get that feeling as well... Maybe he thinks that the spectacle of this event will be a great marketing tool, but it seems like he would have been better off just shipping 20 or 30 million directly to the charity and not worrying about organizing a high stakes sng where most of the field won't even have the majority of their own action.

Gains a lot of air time though for One Drop as a charity, can imagine a lot of people who wouldn't otherwise of heard of it will be donating and recognising the charity more after the event.

Whats the over/under of people playing that will tweet during the tourny?

How many of those people actually have active Twitter accounts?
