As an aside. I was surprised by Tom's use of primarily british words in his tweet rants. Do Americans normally use the word "muppet" as an insult? Thats a word you see a lot on British forums (like Premier League related forums) but not so much on American ones. And the football (soccer for Americans) word "offside" to describe someone doing something out of line?

Has Tom spent significant time in the UK over the last years?

he needs a bible and read matthew 10:28.

and fear not them that kill the body but are not able to kill the soul but rather fear him that is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

No paranoia if you dont fear being drugged. Just take all their drugs. ive had 6 stints in mental hosptials and i know how it works. comply to their meds see doc and get out and see another doc.

Evil stuff is going on but no use talking about that to anyone unless you got evidence and your not getting any evidence inside a hospital.

The poker news reporter had it right. He is in the best place he could be right now. How about we show Tom some love and support right now? If you aren't capable of that, STFU and leave him alone.
Dude you should put yourself back in place.
Go and read through my posting again instead of flying over it and misinterpreting everything!
I am trying to protect Tom by reminding the people that use the term (conspiracy theorist) against him, that they should be more thoughtful when using fighting terms that have been invented by the CIA.
Search for: CIA-Document #1035-960
And yes I know that the word has been used in some literature before the document was released, but the CIA did push it into mainstream and used it as a fighting term.
And it is still used today by morons when their brains reach edges that will not let them connect dots based on empiric data. Which is a way to get to undeniable truth btw.

All i can say is i believe him i have researched these happenings that Tom has talked about and they all say the same things that Tom has said what are the odds that all crazy people would say the same things after he was making tweets about people in high power. You are all supposed to be poker players so tell me what are the odds? And again i have researched and come across the same situations and i mean the same situations that Tom said happened and they all say it was people in high power and they were communicating on either social media against these people in high power or communicating with them in some manner where the people in high power would hear...think before you call someone crazy or manic...That said i know the person/s that have said such have a good heart and meant well but think first

Yes, and someone close to me developed it in their mid-forties. Did have mental health issues before that, but nothing relating to delusions, and the way Dwan tweets is reminiscent of how they talk.

Data point: my friend also got very, very into shrooms for a year or two before the paranoid delusions started to come to the fore, and he took just a metric ****ton of them in that time.

If this is due to debts he owes people.. then he needs to get over it now tbh

The man can’t beat the game any more
Imo. So those debts are never going to get repaid. In the normal world he wills just have to declare bankruptcy at this point. But I don’t know what happens in the poker world.

Also.. as we’ve all seen from Dwan now,
I wouldn’t put it past him for it all to be a big act. To buy him more time, or get sympathy or whatever

Fascinating. If you don’t mind indulging me, could you elaborate a bit:

What happenings, specifically? What research, specifically, have you done?

..

Ignoring the unintentional comedy of the bolded, please share these specific tweets. I’m assuming you think they’re indicting, or revealing? I’ve DM’d with Tom on Twitter when I called him out for being gratuitously generous with his interpretations of the new administration’s policies, whilst ostensibly trying to persuade them to change course, thinking he could (a sign of delusion imo).

He basically said that he agreed with me, but there was also some bizarre and vague rationale as to why he had to ‘play it that way’

Quote:

What situations?

What have you researched and what did that research consist of? How long have you been studying…’this’?

Quote:

What did Tom say that was so dangerous? That people in power were afraid of? Are you at all familiar with social media?

What about the real critics of these ‘powerful people’ (I assume you mean politicians, but correct me if I’m wrong) who have actual reach? The podcasters, newspeople, authors, etc. Do you think Tom’s influence is more dangerous than theirs? What other critics of these dangerous people have been institutionalized to silence them?

Quote:
think before you call someone crazy or manic
You’re crazy if you think people in power view Tom Dwan, poker degen, as a threat to them.

I’m glad that Tom is under supervision, and I hope he gets the help he so clearly needs

Pretty absurd to think this is some act, and that if it were, that he would think his creditors would just say ‘oh, jeez, forget the millions, he’s sick’

Bro, haven’t you done your research and looked up that CIA document that poster totally found on his own? WAKE UP!!

Once Tom’s tests come back it’ll become clear he was dosed with an obscure south American drug on a plane…just wait.

That is…unless the CIA has already covered their tracks

99% of U.S. poker players who would loan Dwan money would do absolutely nothing in the way of extra-legal collections because they are the most square people on the planet. They will go through their checklist of options and anything that could get them in trouble is absolutely dismissed. I feel like Dwan figured this out early in his career and thought "ok I've got a decent line of credit here and I never have to pay anything back". Taking that mentality overseas probably would have been a mistake if that is what has happened.

Has he ever appeared neurotypical to you? How hard would you laugh if you found out Tom Dwan announced he was going to pursue acting? I'm not trying to amateur diagnose the guy, but I will say that people who can't appear normal can't just choose to appear in some other state either, at least not convincingly.

First, it's really none of our business, I understand that. But Tom did make a huge public deal about it.

That said, I fully expect zero closure. He'll just mysteriously say he'll address it soon, or he really can't say what happened because OSHA or something... He'll say later because there's still a lot of moving parts, etc
