One post in this thread by me isn't being "so concerned". I just think it's very odd behavior.

Worry about your own ****. Let people live their lives, bro.

Chinese are ****ing billionaires lol. ~10MNL is well inside their bankroll. I highly doubt they're fish either.
some people act like this is true and will happen all the time which is false, of course the chances of going broke are higher compared to if you use a very conservative BR management where chances of going broke is very small and close to 0, but dont say you go broke all the time when you use agressive BR management, whith a little luck and on a good upswing he could hav been up like 50-100Million over the 5-6 years (think he plays in macau for even longer time ?) he is in Macau, tom once said in an interview if he had 100Million he would snap quit poker for ever, he probably thought the big macau games where his chance for this.

it is more likely than not that durrr has gambling problems. it is more likely than not that he is cash broke. not ready to make leaps on substance abuse, but he's not looking great recently (would say adderall is more likely than not though)
lol at everything about that chess bet

I want to be clear I wasn't saying I think he is broke.
I have no clue as to his finances and wouldn't presume to guess, my only point was that to say you'd be "really suprised" to learn he is in makeup is ******ed.

Gotta say Greg's play in that match was pretty impressive. Especially game 2. I'm rated 1800 and I don't think I would be a favourite against that kind of play.

Wonder if that 20 million pot went to Ivey. I remember Jungle, Ivey and Tom all went to Manila at same time.

It seems like Jungle has talked about this at length on numerous podcasts. He has cast aspersions on Tom's character in many pieces I have watched. Examples are Joey Ingram's podcast and many other things he has done. He does say he has paid penalties but doesn't seem overly happy with that as a resolution. The lastest I have heard him comment was last month on a podcast with Jeff Gross.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HCL...outu.be&t=2466

If the bet had of been the other way I can only imagine the crap Jungle would have taken had he or any other player dragged this on for so long. It seems very shady at this stage.

Surely Tom needs to pay out the bet or play the rest of the challenge?

Luckily for Jungle, he has gone on to make a very good living out of poker. I just don't understand how this hasn't been settled and yet Dwan is seen as some upstanding member of the community while he continues to let it hang.

Just pay that man his money!

It is more like 700k according to Jungle. So the guy should be commended for paying back half of what he owes?, not too mention that Jungle is a massive favorite to win a large amount more over the remaining hands so the amount owed is far greater than the bet.

What a hero Tom is. Playing in the same games for years after for huge amounts of money while owing someone at the tables a substantial sum of money. Seems pretty scummy?

Jungle has made it public in a number of interviews like the one I posted so I beg to differ.
