That's the spirit!

For real though, I think games are getting tougher compared to last summer or even a few months ago. Lots of tables that are full of regs and/or nits. Lots of new regs popping up and regs from lower limits moving up.

https://gyazo.com/0627d2ccde9ae2f253cc6855c02f3b0f this was a one day 1/2 graph while like 12 tabling or something pretty early on with like 110% rakeback because I won the 800$ rakeback lb thingy. I definitely should have put alot more effort in the cash game thing while the going was good. Now if I chase lb I gotta battle the same 4 regs on every table so I just dont. Hence why i said I would actually need to study now. Just quit my session now because a 4th decent reg came on

Tables mostly like this I woulda been the 5th reg and maybe even the 5th best player. Probably still make money tho lol. just not worth the effort to play as the 5th reg unless your committed to go for a leaderboard win. But thats how its designed they kinda force the 2/5 players to play lower to get a higher % rb im pretty sure all 4 of those guys would not be playing 1/2 otherwise but they are incentivized to play everything all day to get a high rakeback.

I dont think we have too many regs. I think we dont have enough fish the pond is not being refilled we saw the potential at launch but every semi decent reg stuck around because the going was good but many of the fish left never to return. I dont think they are promoting poker in ontario very well and many fish get mad for no reason like fish do and download acr to lose money there instead it sucks that fish can still play row. but also there was alot of dead money and people evolved to fill the void to take it

Just my uneducated opinion on the matter. Also games are still very good compared to row it just seems we are going in that direction a little too fast

rake on WSOP is just too high, I have a pretty large sample and im losing 7bb/100 pre rakeback/leaderboard and up slightly after those, half 1/2 half 2/5. Maybe i suck or maybe im running bad but doesnt seem worth it to me. Tourneys seem fine tho.

Well when you have 4-5 winners 8-12 tabling and theres only 8-12 tables wcyd not everyone can win. solution we need more fishes to make more tables . Or improve so they cant beat you 12 tabling but they will still do it because it gets them 100% rb lol. Early mornings still seem kinda good. but I never look at the "high" stake tables anymore and go wow I really wanna play at like 6-4am. im looking now avg table vip is like 18% (9pm) at 1/2 During offpeak hours its closer to like 35

You aren't a reg at that table. You're a nitfish at that table with your 16/12/4 stats. Jedi and Panda would easily run all over you lmfao

Yes that's literally what im saying im not sure how you got that mixed up. also ive been coached by one of them. the 5th "reg" should not be making money and I was smart enough to leave the table. most are not.

What im saying is if I a guy whos played professionally for 13+ years in other forms of poker and beating these for the last 12 months has to already table select and study games it probably means they are quickly becoming pretty hard.

I Have a bigger rioi n 1ks then these tables. Sorry to sound so doom reg but I was hoping it would not go in the direction of row so soon but wsop kinda encourages 5/10 regs to play 1/2 wcyd

Traffic can be dead for many reasons on one of the most "known" networks like stars or wsop.ca ,but playing online poker (mainly cash games) for past two decades, yes rake is a factor, but the biggest factor is the tech they're using that wasn't available, or I should say developed around Black Friday and before.

There's shills that will defend how networks aren't rigged and streamers who're trying to get affiliates. Example, stars doesn't even allow EV cashout, despite that being available on the global client, and the obvious reason is they want to preserve some traffic so its not complete dead, which is why they'll keep the good players break even, and then there's WSOP where I'm 20 buyin below EV as I was trying their software 50NL mainly at first.

Bottom line, it will take time and sometimes it will take decade before online poker is in the golden age again. Players like us bring the revenue, and even in U.S there's again progress being done, and India is joining the global pool on the GG network. The 15 million population in Ontario with the jobs available, how much they're paying and how expensive is to live here, the networks have to be 200-300% better than they are now.

thats only a 6.5 bb/100 winrate prerake could be more of a skill issue but yes the rake is quite high at .50 also meaningless sample size. I have a bigger bb/100 winrate at 1/2 then .50 which I played alot on launch I think, I won the lb everyday for the first month because it was the first time i played nl he cash in like 10 years. The micros with ontarios increased rake are probably just a rake trap you want to move up asap. I tried to get old .50 graffie but outdated.

I probably sound like the biggest fish to some all I was saying If I have to dodge tables its going in the wrong direction quicker then most people realize. Im actually running quite good and I only play cash games on the side so I dont mind blowing up my spot. Games are still good just dodgeable sometimes heres my recent graph of 4x the winrate at 4x the blinds.

I guess they didn't mean this weekend, no ONSCOOP events until 6pm today and 5pm tomorrow. Ridiculous.

What is up with wsop.ca?! I uploaded a bank statement back in Jan when I switched to the Ontario version. Today they asked for proof of address again!! Do we have to upload it every 3 months now?!

I am a tourney player and I am very disappointed with the ON fields. We really got screwed. I may move to PA, USA end of this year or early next year because of my job. Does anyone know about their online poker? Is it as bad as ON? Will I need to let both PS and WSOP know I'll be opening a PA account with them before doing it?

Also, with such strict proof of address requirements, does this mean visitors who come to ON cannot play here (not that it's very exciting here ?

Looking ahead at the ONSCOOP schedule for next weekend...

Saturday: Nothing below $50 until a $5 PKO at 8:05pm, with a ridiculous 3:45 late reg period.

Sunday: Nothing below $50 until a $20 tourney starting at ****ing 10:05pm.

Thanks, Pokerstars Ontario.

Ok I went through a lot of rigamarole to cash out of Stars in Ontario last fall, and was finally able to get a bank transfer.

And now THAT is shut down???!?! Temporarily they say?!?!

I have some modest winnings from ONSCOOP and now I am even denied that??

WTF man...

Ran into the same problem the other day after having used bank xfer on Stars Global.

I used etransfer at the suggestion of others, and it was much faster and smoother after getting verified. I will use it again in the future.

Hello Everyone,

I believe I was a victim of cheating on Party poker a week ago.
Playing 3 way in a tournament, and was crazy how softly they played
vs each other and attacked me relentlesly.

Should I have done anything?

If I complain to the site will anything be done?

Wondering if anyone has made a cheating claim on a site, and what the
results were.

Thanks

Yes absolutely. Costs nothing more than a few minutes to write an email.
