now what we need is to get a hold of jared and have him win a sat and he is a sure thing on this show b/c there can not be a more interesting person .... EVER. All the way from taking distance from his idiotrelatives and family to live in the streets working 0-3 jobs depending on what period in life it was to manage get enough money to get himself a apartment to that ufc fight where he got knocked out in the first 6 secs.

All this with alot of insanely funny and inspiring videos

so....

Imagine him getting able to freerooll for like 100k and actually succeed. Well deserved, no one on earth could not possibly hate on that.

From what I read in other threads on The Big Game, not everyone that has been on the show has qualified through online tournaments. I'm pretty sure even PokerStars Steve had said something to that effect.

There was some guy that was pretty whiney about it in the Televised Poker Forum and I remember him quoting a post from PokerStars Steve but I don't have time to search for it.

While Jared is better off than he was a few months ago he's not sipping champagne on his yacht or anything. He might not be able to spend the time grinding freerolls. If exceptions were made for others could they also be made for him if he can't afford to spend the time qualifying through 3 rounds of freerolls?

It seems like it would be a mutually beneficial arrangement. He seems like a nice guy that's fallen on some hard times but hasn't given up and will do what he has to do to survive and try and stay happy while doing it. He could really use a big break and personally I think he deserves one for his perseverance.

PokerStars in return gets someone that looks like he'll be great for the show. He has a nice outgoing personality so will likely provide good table talk. From what I remember looking at his stats and reading some of his other posts he's not the type of person that's going to nit it up. Plus he has a very compelling story that he doesn't seem to have a problem sharing.

It's obvious from the Loose Canon background segments on TBG that PokerStars really tries to find something to help draw the viewers into really rooting for the LC. That shouldn't be a problem with him.
