You could always see what country someone was from on FTP on the 'hover over' tooltip.

Does Full Tilt Poker start on November 6th midnight? and is the time in GMT? Plus, I hope FTP has some consideration and provide something extra for the micro tournament players who follow bankroll management. That's something I feel online poker companies need to add.

Will Players who have had money on Full Tilt from the US, but have since moved to ROW have the option of keeping their money on the site instead and playing instead of having to deal with the DOJ?

This has been answered on the cliffs. But no, you still have to go through the doj if you want your money. You have to deal with the doj, that is your only option. You can't keep your pre Black Friday money on your FTP.

You replied! Almost as if you believed he would read this unlike every other post in the thread.

Hi,

I'm from Spain. You said my FTP points will be converted to FPPs, but here's the thing: I was Black Member in FTP, while barely Goldstar in PS.es. The traffic there sucks. But anyway, you need almost the entire year, playing at a good pace, to reach Supernova if you play in my stakes. I was working hard to get the $5000 bonus at the BM store (~900k points out of 1,1M).

My point being: for some of us, if you give us the points but not the same VIP privileges we had, we will be losing a lot of value (enough to be worth this question), value we worked very hard to achieve.

My suggested solutions? Temporary Supernova access to the store or the posibility of changing the FTP points to cash, at a rate close to those of the Supernova bonuses.

And sorry for the specificness of this :P

8. So will relocated U.S players outside of the U.S be able to retrieve their account like Stars lets us? Or will we need to make a new account?

- You will not need a new account. The procedure for re-opening your account for real money play will be extremely similar (if not identical) to the procedure currently used by PokerStars.

Has anyone from the UK who has been "verified" recently please say which documents were required and accepted?

I have access to a scanner for a limited time so would like to get documents scanned now in case FT ask me.

Thanks

since i got the verification email ages ago, i have been trying to get my address changed from Belgium to Macau and have sent all relevant docs

still no response, what will happen? supposedly belgium residents will not be able to play (just got an FTP email reminding me of that) but I do not live in Belgium anymore and I want to keep my FTP account and black card status, I have no status in pokerstars!

All you need are two documents from the email you registered with
1) A passport or driving license, do both sides to be sure
2) A utility bill with your name/'address on it (no more than 3 months old)

To you and all other Swedes;

PokerStars.eu is NOT 100% sure to be tax free. Even if they're saying it themselves. There is a lot of confusion and the change from pokerstars.com to pokerstars.eu maybe gave us more arguments for it to be tax free but as of now you cannot act like it is. The same will be for fulltiltpoker.eu since their servers and license is in the Isle of Man(IoM is outside EU/EES and thus not taxfree lottery/gaming winnings by law) just like PokerStars's.

Sorry if this question has been answered before.

I relocated from the US to Costa Rica last febuary. Am I going to have to deposit on FTP to be able to play once it reopens? I currently have a pretty significant amount in my FTP balance, its going to be pretty annoying if I have to deposit funds to play while waiting for the DOJ to even announce the US payout plan.

Is there going to be anything different done with players like me, or are we just sol till the doj figures out whats going on?

Basically what im wondering, I will be able to reopen my old FTP account but its just going to have a zero balance and my money will be in thin air somewhere?

You will have to submit the paperwork to show you have a change of address at FTP. When they reopen, send them a email for your new address. Once they confrim your new address, you will be able to deposit and play again.

Your funds at the old FTP would be in the hands of DOJ awaiting payout. Chances are no your account would show zero as FTP no longer has the funds.

Good Luck

Anybody else find this uber tilting? I mean its one thing if we knew the DOJ was actually going to pay people but there has been no announcement of any sort.
