There is no such thing as shocking to me when it comes to tournaments. People that had literally no idea what they were doing have won a million in some of them (though that's pretty hard to do these days).

I only caught the last 20 hands or so today but saw most of last night. I don't remember anything that negative on Dempsey last night. Guess I'll go back through the hands there's probably good reason if multiple people were coming at him.

Dempsey played his heart out and won. Can't believe how the pros were bashing him for playing like the amateur that he is. The guy is a physician, has a real life and a job. Sorry if he doesn't spend his time playing cards and talking about poker. He tried his best and won. That's what donkaments are all about.

I feel if there's a commentator repeatedly bashing someone's play that person should be immediately fired or never being asked to do it again. Nobody wants to be heavily criticized on TV (or a stream). I think you can say something like " I would have folded or raised or just called" (or w/e) but going after people (or just doing so in a negative tone) is the biggest no-no you can do in the commentary world (which is why announcers in other sports are often "whatever the coach is doing right now is a great decision!).

the events should be broadcast on a 3 hour delay. It's ridiculous to make a wsop final table and have to adjust your game with so much money at stake.

YOU don't have to adjust, and not everyone will. The players who work harder will have an advantage.
