Stud is incredibly interesting if you are not lobotomized.

Later, Dave Tuchman is joined by Harry Orenstein, after the 90-year-old former stud champion (1996) busts in 8th place. Orenstein is the guy who invented the hole card camera, and IMO is equally responsible for the poker boom alongside Moneymaker.

Orenstein talks about how he escaped the Nazi holocaust, and also reveals the greatest poker player he's ever played with. When you hear who it is, it will make your brain assplode.

We also get to hear Orenstein's advice on how to handle your woman. It will not sit well with SGT whatever her name is. You know, that plump ginger mod who likes it up the pooper.

In the end, you'll see Todd "The Hutt" Brunson lose to a classy champion in Matt Grapenthein. Brunson is a disgusting slug.

Tuck's been great. Yeah he tends to talk too much, but that's just who he is.

I do agree about him cutting people off sometimes, which can be annoying. But I also see nothing wrong with adding in his own analysis. That's why poker is great; everyone can have differing opinions without being wrong.

When it's just him in the booth, he should definitely try and let the "game speak" more and be silent and really just call the action and give his thoughts. When there's a guest in the booth, I'm fine with him talking poker and personal anecdotes to keep conversation flowing for the guest, just so the guest isn't bored or anything. But still try and keep up with the action (Bart was always great at this on L@TB). Sometimes Tuck will miss action when there's something interesting happen for the sake of conversation in the booth (an appropriate time to cut someone off, I'd say.)

But hats off to Tuck for his work this summer.

The Main event is the main event. Period

Its the reason every poker player lives for. Breaths for and...

just kidding, i but i still love it. Yes last year was pretty meh, only thing i remember was the "All you need is a queen" from Carter Gill hand.

Anyways, i cant find the post where one of you said Broadcasting starts day 4 this year (from 2011, it starts in day 3) Can anyone confirm it?

Then, why they are making a "feature table" on day 1?

We caught Erick Lindgren in a hand on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Lindgren check-called a bet of 1,200 and the dealer laid the {8-Hearts} down on the turn.

Lindgren once again check-called a bet, this time for 3,500. The {7-Clubs} fell on the river and Lindgren check-called once more. The final bet was 10,000 and Lindgren mucked when his opponent showed him {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Erick Lindgren US 21,600 -26,400

Seriously, how did Driscoll make it this far? It's not like he just started playing bad for no reason when he got head up.

that was a terrible end to what has been a lot of great streams.

eisner's elim was terribad, driscolll tried to check flop back oot and eisner stopped the dealer, fired flop bet and then crai turn owning this dude and he hits.

then when he gets coolered on final hand he slowplays flop and is visibly disgusted at getting out drawn despite playing absolutely terrible throughout the final table
