durrrr's days are over

he doesn't get much action in NLHE and his PLO is mediocre, as is the general consensus

he plays too much for the money, if you listen to his interviews

if you play poker for the monies, u ain't gonna be anywhere close as successful as one who plays to win (aka beat the game)

Exactly right. You cant just play the game, you need to BE the game. Hence playing for money wont take you far.. Playing to one day (hopefully) be the game is what makes you successful. obv

I agree with you of course, I think Durrrr will be back with vengeance. However, I was checking on that in PTR... it looks like he hasn't played any online poker since Isildur1 busted his roll (again) on November 26th.

That's almost a week away from the online poker tables, which seems excessive for someone who was playing in his car, on the plane, etc.

I wonder what Durrrr is up to... maybe resting/relaxing, or maybe studying Isildur1's game?

How good of a poker player is someone who evaluates his sessions by $ won or lost?

Obv money is important, but only because ultimately it's the measurement of success.

Well, I think it's fair to take some time off after an ass-whopping like that... I sure won't hurt, a least he stop bleeding.

IMO he'll get his **** together and make a nice comeback, but he has to make sure he's on his A game to try and do it.
