First off it's live poker, you don't know the exact amounts in the pot, in your opponents stack, and your stack. It takes a lot more time when your computer monitor doesn't tell you these numbers. Secondly it's the final 2 tables of the WSOP. Have you ever been in that position with your tourney on the line? It's gotta be a hell of a lot different from the final two tables of your crappy $10 online tourney. So please stfu with this ****
lol

Go back to your $10 tourneys Stinger imo.

TM is socially awkward and kind of strange. She dated Hollywood Dave for chrissakes. Most people probably don't recognize this immediately because of her looks. The lack of self-awareness she has demonstrated in this thread is amazing, as well.

pathetic

Do good how?

Your OP was 100% self-serving. It's funny how it's turned out, though.

You might be a wonderful person, but the attitude you held at the table was both arrogant and rude, regardless of what might have been cut out of the televised show.

In these two following quotes you claim to only be joking, and you believe that you left the table with no negative thoughts about you:

"Furthermore, if you don't personally know me and you may not understand my joking and sarcastic personality at the tables where I'm just having some fun and harmless banter with the boys"

and

"I don't think there is a single person who I played with live who would walk away and say anything negative about how I personally treated them at the tables or that I didn't show respect to my fellow table mates. "

You can't believe this yourself. As one of the only persons ever you walked away from the endgame of the WSOP Main Event without shaking anyones hand or even gesture the other players, solely because you were aware of the fact that everyone at the table disliked your ultra-arrogant and feisty behaviour. You were obviously amazed of the friendly "reach-for-handshake" by Sliwinski.

Don't you agree?

Anyway, I have nothing personal against you and I agree with most of your statements in this thread. I believe you're a nice person in general, just don't let your celeb pro-status get to your head. It definately did not suit you at the WSOP tables this year.

Best regards,

Morten.

[ ] It was a 12 million dollar pot

Tiffany, I suspect you are still reading this. It seems you wasted a great opportunity on a number of levels. Your choice now is simple:

1. maintain the unlikeable persona and pursue a (short) career as a not ugly female villain poker donk; or

2. wake up to the reality that the way you behaved was not really on, learn to play poker, and post a decent apology. You probably wouldn't be forgiven here, but the general public are more dumb.

It's only just occurred to me that when I was watching last week's episodes I was just waiting for Tiffany to refer to herself in the third person. It seemed so in tune with her overall character to do that, and I was surprised not to see it.

But then she titles her own thread "Tiffany Michelle's post-WSOP thoughts". Ding !!

/ end thread after craigs post.

take it down son.

"MY tournament life was at stake just as much as his."

I'm only this far but wow, lol. Also quoted for wut.

Craig Marquis needs to win the WSOP 2008 JUST for his post here. Simple fact. Chino plays good, but Craig M levels like no other.

Top work, sir.

EDIT: Oh, and love the way TM's apology post begins: "MY TURN"... is it me or does that smack of a spoilt brat much?

Tiff,

Please come back and post, i really think you were starting to turn the PR tide in your favor. Your are just mizunderstood.

tiffany michelle is the biggest douchebag in poker imo.. imagine being more hated than hellmuth no other thread hates on any other player more than this does lol how embarrassing
10-30-2008 , 10:21 AM
I was really rooting for you even with the Ub patch on you. I wish you had been a good for women and poker but you suck. Running around to watch other women bust was gross.

Didn't understand that statement. Seems it would be EV+ to allow players at your table to play slower than players at other tables. Let others bust while you just sit. Moves you up the payoff ladder.

Everyone on reality TV cries about bad editing. If you don't make comments about the other players, they can't take those comments out of context.

I think the proof is in the reactions of the players at the table. They have been there as long as she was. They were responding to her actions.

When she called the clock, they were all in the same boat. Nobody understood why she did what she did. Bad editing? I don't think so.

For everyone that says J7 is a omg Snap call what are you even thinking about:

5.375 to 1 odds on the call

3.9 to 1 vs AA
34.7 to 1 vs JJ
23.3 to 1 vs TT
20.2 to 1 vs 66
1 to 1 vs KQ
20 to 1 vs JT
2.44 to 1 vs T6
3.1 to1 vs J6
2.125 to 1 vs KQdd
1.2 to 1 vs 98dd
5.94 to 1 vs AJ

So let's say Scott is never bluffing (which he is) and only has this has top range.
Hand 0: 24.704% 24.52% 00.18% 142021 1053.00 { J7o }
Hand 1: 75.296% 75.11% 00.18% 435023 1053.00 { TT+, 66, AJs, KQs, JTs, T6s, 9d8d, AJo, KQo, JTo, T6o }

So he's roughly 3 to 1 against the top end of range. If I take out all KQ and only leave KQdd..:

Hand 0: 17.216% 16.98% 00.24% 75646 1053.00 { J7o }
Hand 1: 82.784% 82.55% 00.24% 367748 1053.00 { TT+, 66, AJs, KdQd, JTs, T6s, 9d8d, AJo, JTo, T6o }

Roughly 4.8 to 1 against this range.

Still a mathematically +EV call, but in a tournament, deep, when you're likely never to play for that spot again and where you're basically out if you're wrong (iirc he had 550k left when he lost with blinds 50k/100k) you can fold and have 2.4 Million which is more than enough to come back from this mistake isn't the worst fold ever.

The mistake isn't taking 5 minutes to make the call. It's the check/min-raise for 60% of your stack and then thinking of folding.

Every year it's the same thing...

person acts like douche then apologizes...or blames ESPN.

Josh Arieh
that dan druff guy
Scotty
Matusow

nothing new.
10-30-2008 , 10:59 AM
jesus h. christ, get a goddamn publicist.

My head spins every time I see one of these stupid and poorly written 'apologies' from people who are unqualified to write a to do list for themselves much less a public 'apology.'
