Isn't Ignition poker not allowed (or they left for too much risk) in Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennslyvania after those states legalized poker??

I asked the committee, when they streamed, if there were plans to deal with any illegal site currently operating in Michigan- they said all they do is pass the illegal sites information on to the federal government. So it appears Michigan won’t be spearheading the effort to ban illegal sites from operating in Michigan.

I also asked Phil Nagy in January of 2020 if he would be pulling out of Michigan when they go live and he said that he just didn’t know yet. I wonder if states were to reach out to illegal sites, asking the sites to withdraw, if the sites would just grant that request so they don’t risk losing more.

I was able to get into BetMGM briefly around 12:30pm via the website on my iPhone. App wouldn’t load though. And the website was super slow. It took me maybe 15 minutes to load video poker.

Now I’m getting an error on the website as well, which sucks, I was hoping to continue my hot streak. I was up 10 cents on the welcome bonus!

You gotta remember that none of these folks are using their own 'watch' .. they're on MGCB time. There could be some 'business' decisions going on but we don't know either way. I dare say that I'm somewhat pleased that Gaming was that ready to go once JCAR was cleared.

I am amazed (and assume some sites were ready but 'delayed') that they launched so many of them simultaneously. Is/was it 'fair' for MGCB to set up a proverbial starting line and make sites wait for the starter's gun? GL

i hope they're not trying to milk michigan gamblers out of as much money on their high edge games until the frenzy subsides, and then they introduce poker as a long term low revenue stream. idk if that makes business sense i didn't go to wharton

I read that you can access your old account on PokerStar in PA but you had to create a new Poker Stars PA account if that’s what you were asking.

From what I've seen, nothing has been confirmed, but Spin & Go poker tickets are a part of the $100 sign up money. Not sure why those tickets would be included in the bonus if poker would have to wait weeks/months after sports launch before you could use them; doesn't make sense.

Overall, I expect poker/casino/sports to launch at the same time when Michigan Gaming Control Board gives the company the green light.
