rly? weird that he's doing a lot of flips, playing omaha and hu cap nl tho. since he's a nit and made all his money in nl tournaments, it's strange to see him play this stuff.

The account has been around since 2006. There's a post I've linked to several times with David Williams, Jeff Madsen, and Mike Matusow talking in the chat box about 10k they owe JC. Williams calls JC to find out his screen name and tells Madsen to send it to "OnTheRize". He then takes it back and says to send it to NO IT ALL. NO IT ALL is Amnon Filippi (there's video of him playing on the account), and I think it's well established JC stakes him.

Also, if you send a transfer to OnTheRize, his city starts with S. JC Tran lives in Sacramento, CA.

This was all brought up to him by railbirds in the chat box the night when the flippaments went down with Gus, Patrik, etc. OnTheRize got really inquisitive and defensive about why everyone would think he's JC Tran. It was pretty obvious it was him.

As for him crushing PLO, OnTheRize has said it's all a learning experience for him. Before then the account was always playing mid to high stakes NLH I believe. It would make sense that JC Tran would have the talent, experience, and bankroll to just jump into a game like that and be successful, even though the account seemingly came from nowhere.
