Getting 14 players to all notice this and take advantage is not going to happen. The article makes it out like all 14 players kept increasing their bets every hand and were undefeated. I have a feeling the Brooklyn guy whose room they went to was by far the big winner and there were probably a few stooges out of the 14 that broke even or even lost while never even noticing.
There weren't 14 players. I don't play Mini-bac but it seats 6-8 I think. Maybe the others were placing 'add-on' bets w/ the players ok. Plus there's only 2 hands: Player (which switches) and Banker. The other players bet 'Player' or 'Banker' and either one of them was winning each hand or it was an easily recognizable pattern. Each game uses 4 to 6 cards so I averaged 5 which would be 205 cards.
It's been a while since I played bac tho so I hope I've got this right.
neway, pretty sure that lot's of ppl got fired and also that NJ casino sec ppl have some sort of peace officer status and that they're not rent-a-cops. Don't want to bother looking it up.
