Now, I never got an email with a petition/control number way back when they were taking petitions, so I used the "create new petition" option as I was advised to do. I filed way back in October, gave my balance and "evidence" of said balance (was probably an email from Full Tilt or a screenshot, wasn't worried about it since I was told as long as it wasn't disputed it would be fine). Got the confirmation e-mail, went on my happy way.
So, started to worry a little with so many people getting "all good to go" emails, decided to call up an confirm for peace of mind. Gave my petition number and control number to the guy, was told it was the "wrong one" as one had been assigned to me. He went on to tell me that the petition I had created had no balance and no "evidence" attached, and I clearly remember doing both (obv, why the **** would I submit a petition for no money? Their forms wouldn't even accept blank info if I tried). So, my "nothing" petition is invalid, and he wants me to resubmit with my secretly assigned numbers. He also went out of his way to inform me that "late" petitions may not be honored.
I confirmed with him that yes, their position is that I somehow magically managed to successfully submit a petition missing vital information, and have their system inform me that everything was good to go. He asked if I could "submit evidence" of filing this information in the claim (lol how the **** would I do that). He also informed me that even though yeah, they have all the information they need, he can't do anything to tie the two claims together and that the only thing I can do is file what they will consider to be an extremely late claim that they may or may not chose to honor.
