Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much ROW players successfully withdrew after BF?
01-06-2012 , 06:11 PM
I have pretty much given up on this thread and chek it real fast now n then bc there is such a lack of real content lately and all speculation. I am however suprised that Tapie group does not having ftp up n running yet considering how much every day passing represents $-wise...

Must be alot of lawyer mumbo jumbo and paperwork goin' on...

Having concrete info about US cashouts by February would be nice. I would expect to hear something before then about FTP2 reopening.

I'd really like to know the answer to this question. ^

I'd also love to see the post BF transaction histories for the Team FTP pros. (I'm not referring to the red pros with no ownership interest. I'm referring to only the big name players that had actual ownership.) Not that seeing the histories would really solve anything but I'm curious to see if they were allowed to cash out their balances when other players weren't.

Anyone who's still in the loop have a guess at ETA of FTP2 announcement/FTP2 opening?

I don't even know if FTP knows how much was 'successfully' withdrawn, but ROW balances at the end of March were reported at ~$240M ($390M total - $150M US), but were reported to be only ~$150M at the end of June.

But FTP was reported to only have $50M April 1 ($60M -$10M dividends) and it was reported that ~$40M was seized on BF. The DOJ said they had ~6M in early June.

So balances shrunk `$90M, presumably some people deposited during that time, so if we can allow for a few million to have been successfully withdrawn from that money and a few million from the $6-$10M FTP had kindly segregated for us, I'd estimate that only $10-$15M was successfully withdrawn, $10-$15M was 'raked', leaving ~60M in limbo.

An Italian who claims to be in the loop posted that they will make an announcement around the 16th.

Raga hello!

We had the news ...
It's not that I have not posted for forgetfulness, absenteeism, or ...
It 'was simply because I have been insta-denials, then insta-re-confirmed, then denied re-insta ..
So I preferred not to post them.
This was how it was reopened FT , for which it seemed that Tapie (or rather, his staff) had decided to await the opening of the room in various national countries ( ft . fr ft . en ft . ... es etc. .. etc. .. so to speak) and then inform all the players that your bankroll would be transferred verbatim into the new room is about to be launched national .. (Free cash, cash bonuses, more or less locked or unlocked, were assumed in many different ways and listed bookmakers style ...).
With this in mind, for the reopening of FT (. it at this point) is envisaged other than February 1, but still several months of waiting ..
But this, as I said, has received more denials that confirmation, and then as I wrote it, deny it. But I've also reported, for the record.

What should be safe (but of course now we've got to learn that there is nothing in this story ..) is that around 15 (I have even specified or Monday 16 or Tuesday 17) Tapie should spit out a comprehensive release (exact words ..) which will outline future events ...
We look forward to .. so now we're used to!

I withdrew quite a bit. Stupidly I didn't remove all of it and have tons of friends that have money stuck. I was withdrawing weekly and it took about a week to get paid (used to be instant) then 10 days. They there were so many promos such as rush week and started feeling safe again. I went on a big upswing requested a fairly big withdrawal which never went through and left a large balance inside thinking everything was "business as usual" and they got shut down. I'm sure quite a bit was withdrawn. There was a thread called Canadian withdrawals or something like that.

Call me stupid or be a troll for not removing my whole balance and leaving only what I needed to grind but I had no idea of the trouble they were in and really never expected such a shut down. I am sure many are in the same scenario as me.

I withrew about 1k instantly when i got a text off a friend that friday evening. It processed almost immediately and I had it on Moneybookers within and hour.(Ireland)

I put back on about 200 to start grind again when i 'thought' it was safe. I withdrew once ro tiwce afterwards and I cant recall how long it took.

So according to this translation it says we are still several months away from the reopening of FT?

No, they plan to open Feb. 1, according to him, but if you live in a country that only allows you to play on sites licensed in your country (.fr,, .es, etc) then your balance will not be on FTP.com (kgc, agcc licensed), it will be on ftp.fr, ftp.es etc, but those sites won't actually exist until he gets a license in your country.

Don't you guys think its quite strange to say the least that there are almost no rumours whatsoever....

I mean, since its confirmed tapie spoke to all the employees, you would think the employees of FTP would know a lot more by now and still they all manage to remain completely silent till today.

Not sure what to think of it....
01-07-2012 , 06:26 AM
Maybe they want to keep their jobs?

Imagine yourself being in the position....

No way i could keep my mouth shut against close (poker)friends

This guy, and a couple others there at assopoker clearly have contacts, they posted that Tapie would be in Ireland greeting his new employees, and 3 days later he showed up.
