It was end of last week 100%. Then it was end of last week or early this week 99.9%. Then it was May 23rd. Then it was May 24th. Then it was end of this week. Then it was Tuesday.

That's only this round of course. His original date was October 14th, 2011.

I wouldn't expect an announcement until all parties involved are sure a deal will go forward. Remember that there's more involved here then just Stars(If stars is buying) buying assets from FTP. Whoever buys FTP has to deal with the DOJ as well as FTP and then the deal needs to be approved by a court. If stars is the buyer I'm sure it could complicate matters that Stars themselves are indicted and are accused of operating a criminal business. There's likely many more legal complications/considerations involved in a deal like this then just PS trying to decide if FTP is worth a certain price for them.

Again on the first of May I was told this deal would be done with a ballpark time frame of the third week of May.

Last week I was told the deal is "done" and is a "slam dunk" and 99.9% announced by the end of last week or early this week.

I made some bets that if the deal isn't announced by midnight east coast on the 24th then I lose the bets and I agreed with mod SGT RJ to never post any inside info stuff ever again if there was no announcement by the end of this week and I am fine with that.

Nobody believed I had a source and rightfully so. But I had one of the most honest guys who is very reputable verify my source isn't made up.

The guy who verified my information says he also has been told by a very reputable source that by the 25th at the latest this deal is expected to be announced unless some logistics hold it up.

As of yesterday afternoon I was told the deal is done and nothing will stop it and a few details are being worked out. Player payments were one thing and a couple other things. The world series is just around the corner and Pokerstars is doing everything in their power to complete this deal and make this announcement as fast as possible.

Since last week when I posted a few things seemed to have popped up publicly which look good.

1. Kevmath tweeted pocketkings are trying to verify what they owe some people

2. Pocketkings has some new positions for hire as well



I am not the one responsible for paying people their money and I am not responsible for making sure announcements are posted when I am told they will be. I said I had info, my info was verified and that's all I have right now.

I have money stuck on that ****hole too and every day that goes by without an announcement or news I am just as frustrated as most maybe accept for the guys who have their life savings on there

I don't know why some of us fixate on others' speculation more than others. It's obvious to me that no one knows anything, never has, and never will. The fallout from the Tapie deal proved that to me. No one DID or could have predicted what has transpired regarding this issue.

No one has any reliable inside information and to get your hopes or believe what anyone says about this very complicated, secretive matter is very stupid. If you (you being anyone in this thread making predictions) make enough guesses, you might get one right, but that doesn't mean you have anything of value to contribute.

Everyone feel free to speculate and guess, but you're all on a level playing field of not knowing anything.
